Conveniently located hotel

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Located 2 blocks from the metro station. Great patisseries nearby. McDonalds and super markets nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful,I bought my Disney tickets and shuttle to airport from hotel. Hotel room was small, odd smell and shower head didn't hang up. But room was clean and modern had free wifi.

Nice hotel with pleasant staff and a good location

Posted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: The room was pleasant and clean and the stuff was nice and always willing to help.
Cons: We were happy with the whole experience. It was all positive.
Location: The hotel location is good. It is a quite area but very close to city centre by tube. There are supermarkets and different kind of shops around.
We arrived at 8:30 pm and a very pleasant receptionist gave us a good welcome and the keys. We asked for some information about the city and he gave us a map with lots of monuments and where they were located. It was very useful as we had no idea and we had to plan our day for the next day. The staff were always nice and helpful. The room was very pleasant and clean during the two nights that we spent in the hotel

Close to the Metro system, and close to nice cafes

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: They staff were really nice, and they helped me a lot. I also loved the windows in my room.
Cons: bigger bathrooms lol.
Location: The cafes are a great place to eat breakfast, its only a 2-5 minute walk from the hotel. Also you're right in between two metro stations.
It was really good. My hotel was served as a resting place, because I was out and about all day, and sometimes wouldn't come home until 1 or 2 am. The hotel staff were really accommodating, and helped me a lot when it came to the metro system, and dailing out.

Perfect for a 3 night city break

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Arrived in Paris for a 3 night city break and found the hotel perfect for our needs. Arrived at Charles de Gaulle airport we were able to get a metro train to the la fourche (you have to change at la chapelle (hard du nord and place de clichy)which was located 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms were small but very clean and showers were very powerful and warm. Overall the hotel was perfect for what we were looking for.

Inexpensive hotel close to metro

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Typical small French rooms. Very clean. Nice staff. Bathroom too small - can't even close the door while sitting on toilet and shower leaves very little room to move around. Overall good for one person stay.

Poor value for the money.

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: The shower head was nice.
Cons: The breakfast, bathroom, noise policy, and access to drinkable water.
The room we stayed in was small, hot, and stuffy. There was no AC or even a fan so it was difficult to sleep. Since our room looked out onto the courtyard, we couldn't sleep with the windows open because it was too noisy. Not only would the breakfast noises (which started early) wake us up, but at 3:30 in the morning we were woken up by a woman in the courtyard chatting loudly with the front desk staff. The breakfast buffet was poorly stocked and ridiculously expensive (13 Euros per guest). Strangely, there was no way to get cold water in the hotel. We had to buy bottled water for our whole stay. The shower was quite nice apart from the fact that there was no partition between the shower area and the rest of the bathroom so the entire floor would be soaked. Any time I needed to use the toilet after a shower, my feet would get wet! Overall it was poor value for the money and I would not stay there again.

Comfortable stay outside of central Paris

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: - friendly staff - location (with several food options) - close to metro station
Cons: - air conditioning
Location: - lots of brasseries and patisseries
Hotel Meridional was comfortable, clean, and in a nice area away from central Paris. I stayed alone in a single room. As a single traveler, the location was good. Not sure if it is in a location for families. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They were always polite and provided great directions to the various tourist destinations. The room that I stayed in was clean and comfortable to stay in. There was sufficient lighting and space to lounge in. The washroom was a little small but it did it's job quite well. The hotel is located in an area with several brasseries and patisseries so you'll never be short on options for dinner. There are also supermarkets in the area, too, in case you are travelling on a budget (like I was). The hotel is also a short walk from the metro which made it easy to drop in and out of central Paris. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Meridional and would recommend it to others.

Nice, quiet, adequate, a good value

Posted Jul 7, 2014
The single room was just fine for my needs, but the bathroom was very small. The toilet was located in the corner of the room and so close to the wall that I was unable to put the seat cover completely upright. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Nice budget hotel, walking distance to metro

Posted Jun 30, 2014
The hotel staff were very helpful, most spoke English. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. The location is about 5 blocks, five minute walk to La Forche metro, and about a 10 minute walk to Place de Clichy.
