Good location and value for moneyPosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: Location, I like a little street noise but not too much and I felt it had a great vibe
Cons: A couple of desk clerks could have cracked a smile once in a while
Location: Metro, cafes a plenty, little supermarkets, the hop on and off again bus all near by.
Pleasant area, nice cafes and facilities nearby. Staff varied in service provision but overall friendly and helpful. Breakfast basic but plentiful. Room with juliette balcony made my three day stay sweet. We were very pleased with our three star choice. Wifi was generally good. Water pressure good. clean and comfy. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel in Le Marais, ParisPosted Jun 12, 2013
Pros: The situation in Paris, close to museums and landmarks of this beautiful city
Cons: This hotel has a good relation between price and service.
Location: Walk around and discover the small streets , cafes and bistrots of a real Paris.
Very nice hotel with an excellent situacion in Paris, walking distance to Beaubourg, le Forum Les Halles and l'île de la cité. 5 minutes from Metro station. Our stay at Hotel Meslay last may was a very good experience. Myrna

Not for us.Posted May 12, 2013
Pros: Some of the staff were nice & some bordered in rude.
Cons: Almost everything.
Location: Had some ok places to eat close by.
Wasn't anything we would stay at again. It was very outdated and didn't have any type of room fan, so was constantly hot & stuffy. They also managed to put us in the room with the red lights from their hotel sign shining into the room. Shame on is for not checking out how far it was from main attractions. We've always stayed closer and just didn't realize. We didn't bother with the breakfast of 10 per person & one tiny table of nothing much. We enjoyed coffee & croissants at a nearby restaurant and were happy with that.

Good hotel in a great locationPosted Feb 2, 2013
Location: A few steps from Place de la Republique and Metro Line 5 takes you direct to Eurostar
Great location but use the right exit from the metro (2) for an easier walk. Hotel is in good condition and is well looked after. The sound proofing is amazing - just open the window to discover that Paris is already up and in business. Breakfast staff are lovely and serve a pretty good petite dejeuner. Best discovery was Brasserie du Temple just to the right on Republique - a festival of pink lace, boas and leopard skin - Bett Lynch would be invisible.

The hotel was great. The staff was amazing. There was one female front desk attendant that was less than helpful. She was very short and not warm. Otherwise, all the men working there were amazing. Friendly, fun and looked like they enjoyed their jobs.

Beware the attic roomsPosted Oct 9, 2012
Cons: The room was very disappointing.
Location: The location is near the Place de la République with easy access to the Metro, bus, and shops.
Although the location of the hotel is good and the staff were nice, the room I was assigned was terrible. It was on the 7th floor in the attic next to the mechanical room for the elevator, so it was impossible to sleep with the constant noise most of the night from the banging of the elevator every time it started and stopped. The room was tiny with a sloped ceiling and skylight, so I was not able stand upright in half the room. I also didn't have hot water the first day I was there.

Conveniently located for sightseeing.Posted Sep 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
The staff were extremely helpful and went to some trouble to help answer any questions we had. Would recommend this hotel as excellent value for money.
