A really sweet hotel with nice modern rooms. Comfortable beds and a nice amount of space for a city hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Good location too.
Would recommend and would stay here again without a doubt
For starters, they should make it clear that the hotel is right above a metro. This means that every 20 minutes or so, you feel it rattling below you in the middle of the night.
The rooms facing the inner courtyard were dreary and depressing. The rooms facing the street were slightly better. The view to the park was nice.
This hotel must have been nice about 15 or 20 years ago, but it needs maintenance. There has been zero effort put into the design or the upkeep of the downstairs breakfast area. Not sure why anyone would want to eat there.
The cleaning crew was good at making the beds but the room was dusty.
The employees were pretty unfriendly although they did change our room when we told them the courtyard one was not acceptable and they did call a taxi for us.
This hotel is a joke. This is a two star hotel at best. Room fixtures are made out of plywood boards and accessories and wall mounta are coming off the wall. The worst part of it all, rooms do not have A/C. Room service tags for doors handles not accessible. Light fixtures all on timers. Place is a joke.
Petit hôtel parfait pour notre famille de 4. À deux pas du métro et des autobus. Quartier sécuritaire et ils offrent le petit déjeuner pour un prix raisonnable, mais nous avons préféré manger à la boulangerie du quartier.

Cheap and cheerful
Good location, very close to Meteo stations. Amenities close by, very nice patisserie around the corner. Family room very small for 4 people but it was just a place to sleep so we managed. Staff friendly and helpful.
Great location, walkable from Gare du Nord station, Poissoniere Metro station and bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was just what our family needed.
Small but nice little hotel, good facilities, simple but nice continental breakfast, helpful staff. Room safe didn’t work, but nothing was lost. A little noisy with street traffic, but not an issue. Good location.
Great location easy to find on the metro. Staff accomodation and helpful, we returned the next day after leaving ear pods in the room they were very helpful in assisting us in finding and returning the item.
Basic rooms, but clean and have everything you need.
The hotel was great because it was very close to city center and lots of mobility such as scooters and bikes around.
The room as also cozy and clean.
The price was not too bad for location. I would stay here again
Arrived early after a long day traveling. The man let me into my room an hour early and couldn’t be more helpful.
Great location for the attractions. Lovely clean comfortable rooms. The shower was amazing. Breakfast was so nice. Continental and plenty of it. Can’t fault the place.
This is a 2 star hotel, defintitely not 3. My 4-night stay was below average at best as the hotel was missing some basic amenities. Major issues I had were: 1) there is no A/C; 2) there is only 1 iron for the entire hotel and no ironing board! You have to go down and ask reception for it and hope whoever had it last returns it; 3) No sign on door to tell housekeeping whether you want service or not so I was woken up 2 days by housekeeping just barging into room without even knocking; 4) Wi-Fi is TERRIBLE. It kept going in and out or requiring you to login with password every few minutes. After the first night, I bought a SIM card so I wouldn’t have to rely on hotel Wi-Fi; 5) Beds were hard and linens basic; and 6) rooms facing the street are VERY noisy.
The good: 1) Hotel staff was friendly enough and provided water if asked, 2) good central location close to metro station, and 3) hot shower with good water pressure.
It is a very old school hotel (they still have physical room keys instead of cards) and it was missing some of the basics one would expect in a “3 star” facility. I would not stay here again.
Great location and close to Gare du Nord so convenient for any Eurostar travellers. Clean room and bathroom. Would recommend some nicer room finishes and USB ports for travellers who may not have a conversion for their chargers.
The hotel did not look like the pictures. Our room took days to finally get warm despite being told that our heater was working (it was not). The bathroom smelled like a sewer and there weren't any wash cloths so we had to shower with hand towels everyday. We called Hotels.com to try and get a refund but they said that Hotel Montholon refused so we were stuck.
