Unusual concept but it works

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Staff, and breakfast
Cons: Tea making facilities in the room.
Location: The funicular railway up to Sacre Coeur
I hadn't appreciated this was a hotel with 'Love' as a theme. I had assumed it's reference to 'Mon Amour' was to emphasise its love of Montmartre! But once I got over the décor/theme, I really enjoyed staying here. The staff were just excellent - all of them. Breakfast was excellent too.

Hotel brilliant. Went with daughter and was assured hotel not exclusive to couples before booking. And although lots of couples it felt absolutely fine and comfortable.i liked look of hotel online and found reviews helpful. Julien ,concierge, brilliant and I will definitely go back.

Great location.

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: Location. Quirky.
Cons: The room was tiny, and the loo was literally right next to the bed basically in a cupboard. That was pretty horrendous.
Location: Montmatre lovely part of city.
Excellent location, in nice area of City. Lots of steps so don't even think about it if you're in any way unfit!

Couples Hotel

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Everything!!
Cons: If you are a very large person perhaps you would find it difficult to get in and out of the w.c. in the room.
We absolutely loved our stay - The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. The general atmosphere was great and we are looking forward to staying again. There is a little cafe called the Batok near by and the food was great and frequented by the French so that says a lot.

Hotel Montmartre Mon Amour

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Quirky, spotlessly clean, friendly staff
Cons: That would be nit picking
Location: Great location. Couldn't believe we were in the heart of Montmartre, so close to the Scare Coeur but it was really peaceful at night, we slept so well
Normally when we stay somewhere even if the hotel as been good there are one or two things that weren't quite right and if we returned to the area we'd be tempted to try somewhere else. When we next visit Paris we'd definitely go back to Montmartre Mon Amour. Everything was just right.

Romantic Hotel full of Parisian Atmosphere

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: We loved the decor and the whole atmosphere. The complimentary afternoon tea was a nice touch.
Cons: Rather than robes it would have been good to have tea and coffee making facilities in our room.
Location: Located next to some traditional french restaurants and bars. Sacre Coure within 3 minute walk, stroll around Mon Marte village.
This is a beautiful small Hotel perfect for a romantic break. Upon arrival the reception staff were attentive and friendly and very willing to help. We booked a superior room which was spotlessly clean and although had a very small shower room and toilet, the bed was large and extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room to move around. We had a beautiful view over the small town of Monmarte and the surrounding area. It really is a romantic atmosphere and the continental breakfast was the nicest I had ever had (bordering on 5* standards). The Hotel is rich in colour and furnished beautifully and it all looks and feels very sumptuous and seductive.

Romantic

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Free wifi, unique theme, friendly staff, close to cathedral, good surrounding restaurants.
Cons: Bigger rooms, cleaner streets (though not something the hotel can control).
Location: Very close to the Sacre-Coeur basillica, subway very close, nice surrounding restaurants, lots of little shops and bakeries/patisseries nearby.
Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, and free wifi was great. Breakfast I thought was a little overpriced (15e) for what was offered. Standard rooms were a little small, but the theme was unique and charming. Elevator is really too small, expect to use the stairs. Hallways are also small and narrow. I would recommend upgrading to the bigger rooms which also have a coffee maker. Hotel is located beside the Sacre-Coeur basillica which was nice, but Monmartre (and Paris for that matter) is a dirty overall. Surrounding restaurants are nice though.

Dear Madam, Sir, We first would like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience. The breakfast cost 15€ per person and by paying this extra (if your room price do not included breakfast) you do have fresh juice, fresh fruit salad, cheese, ham, eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffle, fresh bread and viennoiserie, raspberry pie, salmon, cereals, etc... We also do have price including breakfast which give you a discount of 6€ on the breakfast price. Which mean that the breakfast price will be 9€ per person. This is the price that you pay in the cafe in front of the hotel for a coffee a juice and one croissant. I would like to apologies that you found Paris and Montmartre dirty, we already contact several time the mayor to redder to this situation. We all stay available to discuss about your ideas to improve our breakfast. And we hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again to show you our improvement. Romantic location

Pros: Modern style
Great place to stay with close and friendly restaurants. Easy walking distance to Montmartre and metro - but would recommend Chateau Rouge rather than Anvers as the metro stop.

Everything about this hotel was modern, chic, and comfortable. The decor is incredible. I would probably not recommend the hotel to a solo traveler but it is absolutely ideal for a romantic getaway.
