Perfectly acceptable - the quality of bread at breakfast has improved since some of the previous reviews! Now good, nice croissant too.

The staff at the Hotel Murat was very helpful. The neighhood is very safe; there are grocery stores and fruit stands right across the street. Lovely restaurants right around the corner where we enjoyed one of the best meals of our trip, The lift (elevator) is only able to carry one person with luggage; think of something out of Casablanca. Overall: clean and comfortable, very good value for the reasonable price.

Hotel Murat offers a great location, very central. The hotel felt extremely old and could do with some modern touches. Friendly staff.

Typical European hotel with smaller rooms. Staff was helpful and spoke English. Was in Paris to attend Roland Garros (French Open). 15 minute walk (or 2 metro stops if one would rather) to event. Close access to Metro. Only concern is the room layout. While I'm used to smaller rooms in Europe, the room layout didn't really work. The only way to sit at the "desk" was to sit on the end of the bed. Internet worked fine. No surprises on the bill nor any of the checkout games that sometime happen. Don't expect I'll be booking here for next year's trip.
