Beautiful intimate hotel close to everything.

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The hotel was immaculate, updated bathrooms, the lobby was beautiful. The adjoining bar and restaurant was very cozy, with great food and service.
Cons: The addition of a gym would be the only thing that comes to mind.
Location: The hotel is one block from the Champs-Elyees with its shopping and Bistros and the Arc de Triomphe. Everything else is a short cab drive away.
Our experience at this hotel will be memorable. The staff was wonderful, service was excellent. The hotel rooms were updated and beautifully decorated with a Parisian influence.

Excellent but small!

Close to major attractions. Neat hotel, but room is very small and little too expensive . Happy that they upgraded us to a junior suite. A bite bigger. Overall excellent.

Generally quite a nice hotel, but a few issues

Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: Location and room design
Cons: More professional and firm handling of issues.
I stayed here due to a special rate (as the rack rate is quite expensive). The location is very central, although there happened to be a protest opposite the hotel (next to the Qatar embassy). Front desk staff were generally OK, although I was greeted by a trainee who seemed bored and uninterested. The room itself was very nice. The only issue I had was that the hotel seemed extremely popular with overseas families who seemed to shout in the corridors a lot, and their children were allowed to run around and bang on doors then ran away. I mentioned this to one of the staff at front desk, who were quite frank that "they pay the full rack rate, so they can do what they want". I was a bit taken aback, as although I was on a discounted rate I do come to Paris on business a lot, and as a result won't come back to this hotel.

Steps from Arch of Triumph on quieter street

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Attentive staff with English speakers. Boutique feel with generous sized rooms for Paris. Bathrooms well done - shower/tub combos with toilet in same room. Free wifi in lobby. Available for fee in rooms. Lobby breakfast expensive €28. King bed with queen sleeper sofa for our adult children. Good bedding. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel Napoleon - Ave de Friedland

Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: Location and facilities
Cons: Televsion had an intermittent fault and the staff weren't particularly helpful in resolving the issue.
Location: Excellent Location right next to the Arc de Triomphe and associated metro stop. One street away from the Champs Elyssee.
Excellent hotel located very close to the Arc de Triomphe. Great facilities and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend for a getaway. Good quiet room for the location. Good facilities apart from an issue with the television which appeared to be an intermittent fault and the staff couldn't resolve.

Excellent Hotel for Paris vacation

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Pros: The best thing about this hotel was the location. It was right next to Champs Elysees and accessible to the metro.
Cons: For the cost, it would be nice to have breakfast included. Free Internet was available in the lobby only . Also noisy traffic along the avenue.
Location: The hotel was near the Arc d'Triomphe and lots of shopping and nightlife at Champs Elysees.
I travelled with two teenage children. We arrived early and the staff was able to accommodate us by preparing a room for check in by 11:30 am. We were so pleased after an overnight flight. The decor was definitely characteristic of the Napoleon era and very fitting for a visit to Paris. The staff were pleasant and the room was alway clean and neat. Overall we had a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
