“well situaued and newly remodeled Paris hotel”
exelent small hotel un Paris
“Great for the price”
I stayed for 1 night in late July and it was a very nice hotel for a 3 star. The room was smaller than you would get for a 4 star, but the hotel was recently renovated and clean. Location was good to walk around in Paris and is 1 block from the RER-B train to get to the airport. Staff was very friendly as well, as long as your polite, it will not be a problem that you cannot speak French.
“staff made a superior experience”
The location was excellent for my needs. The hotel room was quite small but comfortable - the bedding was awesome - pillows, sheet, comforter soft and fluffy. The hotel staff was friendly and so helpful that I felt very welcome. The glass shield on the bathtub/shower was awkward - I couldn't help but splash water on the floor.
“Friendly staff, good rate, convenient and free wifi”
I would definitely go back to this hotel. It is only 15 minutes to the Seine and 5 minutes to the Latin Quarter. The room was clean and comfortable, although quite basic, and the staff was friendly. Wifi was free in the room and lobby with a good connection speed.
“Good Location”
Close to RER , Metro and central Paris
“Great location!”
Convenient location and friendly staff. Would stay there again.
“Lux”
Small, cheap, comfy hotel in an excellent location.
“Great location, great stay.”
The staff was very nice and spoke English well. We had a great room at the end of the hall with a nice view of the area. The entrance to the underground RER (metro) stop was just across the street (super convenient). There was a small market a few doors down the street that made buying drinks and snacks very easy. The room was the size I expect in a large city (similar to New York), but our bathroom was quite large (which was nice). There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel, but we only ate one dinner there, which was OK. The hotel staff recommended Les Papilles (another restaurant within walking distance) one night and it was great (prix-fixe menu)! Overall we were very happy with our stay there.
“Paris Hotel Luxembourg”
Good hotel within walking action of most that goes on in the Left Bank area. Like most Paris hotels, thanks to the low value of the US $, this one is a bit "spendy" unless your can find a deal, like we did, booking it via Expedia.
“excellent choice”
i checked in very early - around 7:00am - and after a short wait was able to get to my room, and get some rest. hotel staff were very helpful. they arranged transport to the airport with a shuttle van at less than half the cost of a taxi. if you have a lot of luggage, public transport is difficult, so finding the shuttle service was much appreciated. the location is great and in my favorite part of paris - near the luxembourg gardens. you are far enough away from the hustle/bustle of the latin quarter, but close enough to walk and enjoy all the sights, restaurants, etc.
