Very ParisianPosted Oct 26, 2013
The lift was claustrophobic, there was room for me (5ft petite) and a tiny case, & couldn't turn around inside it! The stairs are pitch black, on motion sensor lights which only turn on once you've got halfway down. I spent minimal time in the hotel, no amenities in the room what so ever.

Good LocationPosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Vivaldi is in a good location, just about a minutes walk from the Opera House, Metro Stop & a number of good cafe/resturants. The hotel is small, with the worlds smallest lift/elevator, and the bedroom was a bit dated but it was clean and everything worked. We were there for a couple of nights and we were only in the room for sleeping. If you like to spread yourself out and spend time in your room then this may not be the best option but for a quick trip like we had, it was fine. Staff were friendly.

Not enough bed pillows, unfriendly staff, and a blinking light on the smoke alarm, elevator too small to ride in with one carry on piece of luggage

Reasonable compared to other hotels in the areaPosted Jul 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
Lift is the smallest on earth being difficult to fit 2 people at the same time. Rooms have no air condition, so in warm summer nights it may be a problem. Need some works to improve. But compared to other hotels in Opera/Grand Boulevards area, room is not as small as others. Location is a bit further than others from restaurants and bars, but only about 10 minute walk.

Leisure/business hotel in central Paris.Posted Oct 3, 2011 on Hotels.com
Hotel appeared to have been recently renovated (Sept '11) to good standard. My double room was spacious, although bathroom (shower only) was very small. Great location only a short walk from wide selection of bars and restaurants, access to Metro too. Also only a few minutes walk from Opera and Gallery Lafayette. So a good base for travelling around centre of Paris, either on business or as a tourist. At late notice I got a reasonable rate from Hotel.com, however, I feel that it might be a little expensive for the quality normally.
