Good location

Good enough. Room comfortable and reception area nice. Lift v claustrophobic; room for one! Good location just a 10 minute walk fom Gare du Nord and in a trendy area of caf├ęs and bars. Worked out well for a one night stopover. Overall decent vfm.

Noisy near by bar

A bar opposite the hotel and close to room window was alive till dawn and the noise from the bar disturbed our sleep. Window glazing was too inferior to prevent noise ftom outside.

Clean and basic

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Reasonably sized and very clean. Quite basic, there are no tea or coffee making facilities, but guests are provided with bottles of water and some toiletries. Well positioned: the hotel is within walking distance of both the Gare du Nord and all major sights.

Paris hotel

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Wonderful location we were able to walk all over Paris. Close to a variety of shops and restaurants. The only drawback was having to pay to park which I imagine you would have to do no matter where you stay in Paris. The staff was helpful and the entire hotel was spotless. Is definitely stay there again.

In a good area but on the edge of a sketchy area of town which as two females we had to be a little careful in the area.

Great Stay!

Posted Aug 20, 2014
We loved the proximity to bars and beautiful restaurants. It was great not to be in the direct touristy area. Not a far walk from the city and it helped burn off all the amazing pastries that Paris has to offer. Would recommend to everyone and the hotel staff were lovely!

Great 'base' for exploring Paris!

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: For a hotel in this price range, it was great value, couldn't have wanted any more!
Location: Everything is easily accessible from this location.
Fab location, beautiful boutique hotel, great value for money! Comfortable rooms, new modern decor, clean and wonderful friendly staff. The location was perfect for us arriving in at Gare du Nord, it took us approximately 15-20 minutes to wander to the hotel and found it very easily. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Easy accessibility to the metro in all directions ('Poissonniere' being the closest station). Numerous restaurants and bars within 5 mins walking including Les Animals which is a stroll up the road for a delicious breakfast and freshly squeezed orange juice. There is also a couple of bar/restaurants on the hotels doorstep. We loved the location for everything being so accessible to everything and yet not in the hub of any tourist zone. As three women we felt safe walking back in the evening and the hotel reception was manned 24 hours a day. It took us about half an hour strolling down to the beautiful 'Opera' area for a bit of retail therapy including Sephora, Zara, Mango etc. We caught the Metro to the 'The Centre Pompidou' a must for all art lovers in this magnificent modern gallery and if you visit, going to the rooftop for a drink is a must! We would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Paris for a weekend trip and definitely do a bit of research using 'Time Out' Paris for finding wonderful eateries and bars in tucked away locations. We can't wait to go back!

Small friendly hotel.

Pros: Everything
Location: The street was narrow and chaotic and for visitors not familiar with Paris could be intimidating.
We were at the top of the building so was quiet. Very nice bedroom with a bright, clean bathroom - with a bath - just what I needed after travelling for a month
