“Loved this hotel!”
You could see the metro stop from outside the hotel entrance. Lively nightlife surrounding hotel. Room was incredibly spacious by European standards. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Great value for the price. Only issue was the that the shower head had to be titled to an odd angle to prevent water from getting all over the bathroom floor (but seriously not an issue when looking at all the other positive factors!). Would definitely stay here again.
“Hidden treasure in Paris”
We recently stayed in the Hotel Paris Bastille on a side trip to Paris while visiting England. I had read many reviews and done lots of research on the area prior to booking. The hotel was very reasonably priced for the area, so I was naturally somewhat skeptical. I was more than pleasantly surprised upon arrival to find that the hotel is within view upon exiting the metro station and is in a great area. My family felt completely safe walking around both during the day and at night. The hotel is a European style venue so the rooms are smaller than those you may be accustomed to if traveling within the U.S., but we wanted to experience the European way of doing things and loved the room. The front desk personnel could not have been more helpful and spoke wonderful English. We arrived earlier than expected and our room was not ready. The hotel happily stored our luggage in a locked area until we could check into our room. They gave us directions to all of the frequently visited sites and had maps, etc. available to help when necessary. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Hotel Paris Bastille and will definitely book there again on my next visit to Paris.
“the best 3* hotel you can stay”
1) Excellent location. 100 meters from the Metro (Bastille) and about 400 meters from the Bastille neibourhood with dozens of bars, bistros, restaurants in cozy narrow streets where you can wander around. 2) Hotel was spotless. The room and the common areas. Absolutely spoltless. 3) The room had a nice, comfotrtable double bed (I am 1.96m tall), 4 fluffy pillows, a desk, 2 closets, minibar, and coffe maker, and room for my luggage. 4) Bathroom: Absolutely spotless and roomy, nice marble big sink counter, nice big bathtub. 5) Good breakfast. The gentleman at the breakfast room was as pleasant as a person can be. Always happy and welcoming. 6) The front desk staff spoke perfect english, were extremely willing to help, and always smiling. It is as good as a 3* hotel can be, and I give it a grade 5 for it's standard.
“Great Hotel”
The hotel is located right next to the Bastille and next to both a Metro station and L'OpenTour bus-stop (site-seeing bus). The location is great and it is easy to get around. Also, there are many restaurants and bars in the area. At night you can find tons of things to do. Other than that, the service is perfect. The stuff is welcoming and generous and their English is good (which is important around Paris!!). The rooms may be a bit small, but over all the services the hotel provides (free wireless and breakfast included - at least that was my case) are more than satisfying. The breakfast, by the way, is decent. In summary, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris. It's not that pricey and it gives you everything you need.
“Great location, good value”
Good value and location for business travelers - convenient to metro and many good restaurants. Courteous and helpful hotel staff.
“Great Hotel”
Would definitely recommend this hotel. Very good location. Great for families - the room we were in had 2 bathrooms and very comfortable beds for everyone.
“Great Paris location”
The hotel was as nice as pictured on Expedia. The room was actually larger than we expected and comfortably accommodated the third bed. The complimentary breakfast was served until 10 and offered meat, cheese, fresh fruit and pastry in addition to regular breakfast fare. The metro was one stop away. We were a 10 minute walk from the Seine. One block from hotel in Bastille Square was a large confluence of restaurants. The A/C worked very well. Mgmt spoke fluent English and was happy to hold on to our baggage after check out until we left the city. Would return in a heart beat. Great room, location and price.
“Excellent Hotel”
Clean hotel with english speaking friendly front desk staff. The hotel is within walking distance of a hop on hop off bus stop. The included breakfast was very good.
“extremely convenient, very nice hotel, free real breakfast”
Great place to stay. Staff very nice. Service great. across the street from the metro.
“Great small hotel. Will definetly stay there again.”
Great location. Two short blocks to Metro station. Several good cafes and restaurants close by. Hotel front desk staff was very helpful with directions and Paris information. For those who want comfort and courteous attention at an affordable price, this is the place.
