Good fairly modern hotel within walking distance of Notre Dame and very handy for Gare de Lyon. Direct metro connection from Garde du Nord.

“Great location, very good hotel”

Fantastic location just a few metres from the Metro and the Bastille itself. The hotel is clean, rooms are decent and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a great food market on a Sunday just around the corner (Bd Richard Lenoir) where you can stock up on French goodies to take home.

“home away from home”

My grand daughter and I really enjoyed our visit to Paris, starting with this very pleasant hotel in a great location. We travelled by bus everywhere and they stopped very close to the hotel. There were several very good restaurants in the area. The high light of our visit was the opera which was located just across the street from the hotel

“A good choice.”

Very good accommodation. Excellent location. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Have used the hotel before and will continue to do so. Only point to make is that the third bed in the triple was a fold down bed which while quite adequate was not a s comfortable as the regular beds and made the room very small.

Would definitely recommend this hotel. Very good location. Great for families - the room we were in had 2 bathrooms and very comfortable beds for everyone.

“Nice Area”

Me & two friends decided to stayed here for the recent Scotland game as it was close to a certain Scottish pub were all the Scottish supporters were mingling. The staff were very nice to us & i would recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Great place for a weekend break”

Great hotel - They were welcoming and warm with an exteremly polite manner (rare in France). Friendly but not intrusive. Classic Paris Restaurant/cafe right next door for a late breakfast and late night shop behind for nightime champagne. Very quiet. No views but just go outside for that. With the opera house over the road and Very good restaruants and bars within 5 minutes walk and the metro in 2 minutes you couldnt ask for a nicer area to base yourself. (only 5 minutes walk from where the Air France bus drops from CDG one of only 2 stops) For the cost very very good.

“Hidden treasure in Paris”

We recently stayed in the Hotel Paris Bastille on a side trip to Paris while visiting England. I had read many reviews and done lots of research on the area prior to booking. The hotel was very reasonably priced for the area, so I was naturally somewhat skeptical. I was more than pleasantly surprised upon arrival to find that the hotel is within view upon exiting the metro station and is in a great area. My family felt completely safe walking around both during the day and at night. The hotel is a European style venue so the rooms are smaller than those you may be accustomed to if traveling within the U.S., but we wanted to experience the European way of doing things and loved the room. The front desk personnel could not have been more helpful and spoke wonderful English. We arrived earlier than expected and our room was not ready. The hotel happily stored our luggage in a locked area until we could check into our room. They gave us directions to all of the frequently visited sites and had maps, etc. available to help when necessary. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Hotel Paris Bastille and will definitely book there again on my next visit to Paris.

“Paris at its best”

I can confirm all the previous complimentary reviews and reiterate that the quiet central location, the ease and choice of transport around the city using it as a a base and the extremely friendly and helpful management and staff all contributed to a very enjoyable stay. This hotel is also extremely good value for money. We will go back.
