Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Shower curtain in the bathroom.
Location: Short distance from major attractions, lots of cafes and bakeries.
Easy walking distance to the core of Paris. The hotel is typical of European hotels, the room was small but clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and provided good advices on restaurant, transportation and local amenities. Overall the stay was great for our honeymoon.

Don't stay at this hotelPosted May 30, 2014
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: The owners of this hotel are just milking this and clearly don't have an interest in providing even the pretense of caring for their guests.
Location: Not a bad part of the city but there are many hotels close by that would be a better choice.
Spent a week in Paris and this hotel was the only thing wrong with the trip. First of all, Rivoli street is like a super highway at night with motorcycles speeding by at 60 mph. You cannot leave a window open since you are right on the street. There is no other ventilation n the room, not even a bathroom fan. The air conditioner (inverter) is unusable since it has never been cleaned. Using it fills the room with a disgusting moldy odor which never disappears. The hotel has not seen any renovation in a long time save the proximity locks on the doors. The rooms are really small. The pictures are really optimized. There is little place to unpack your things and no place to put your luggage. The desk chair doesn't fit under the table taking up space and the "minibar" (an old refrigerator that barely works inside a cabinet marked "minibar" just takes up space. Bathroom is minimal with no place to put things. Hotel staff is ineffective. The women at the front desk can't tell you where a street is that is 4 blocks away. One hadn't a clue as to where Versaille was or how to get to the station. Frustration upon frustration at this hotel. Better off to spend more than to have this diminish your time in a fabulous city.

Overall, very goodPosted May 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was perfect, and so was the bathroom. Top floor room. Lots of light. Only a bit of noise from other rooms in the morning. Reception area should be refurbished in order to be at the same level of the nice room I was given. Very friendly staff. Several languages spoken.

Great location near Notre Dame and MaraisPosted May 5, 2014
Location: Notre Dame, Place des Vosges
The hotel is in a great location, in between two Metro stops and within walking distance of many tourist locations. We arrived in the morning, before our room was ready. We were able to leave our bags at the front desk, and start exploring the city. The hotel and room were small by American standards, but had everything we needed. The bathroom was actually bigger than I expected, so I was pleased with that.

Nice hotel close to everythingPosted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: It is easy to get to from the metro and CDG and also within a few minutes walk of the Seine and Notre Dame. The location is brilliant.
Cons: While it was very clean, the decor (carpets, walls, furniture) could do with an update. My Tv didn't work but I was out most of the time.
Location: You can't beat the location--sandwiched between the Marais and the Latin Quarter- I don't think it gets much better--Notre Dame, the Louvre, etc.
This hotel is a great price for the location--close to all the sites and great restaurants, but not as crowded with tourists as the Latin Quarter. The Marais is a lovely spot with plenty of great places to eat and wonderful shops and buildings. It is close to the Pompidou center and a large shopping Mall. Bastille is a short walk away as is Hotel De Ville, so you have good access to metro networks and the RER.

Centrally but quietPosted Apr 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
The double room was rather small but as we were not much in the hotel room, this didnt matter. We had a room towards the backyard and there was very silent in the night even we were in the middle of a capital.

Fell in love with Paris!Posted Apr 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location of this hotel is excellent and I'm so glad I picked it. We had a fabulous time! There is a city bus stop directly across the street (highly recommend the bus system; clean, fast, dependable) and a metro train stop 2 blocks in one direction and 3 blocks in the other direction. We had no problems getting to all the places we wanted to see, not to mention the lovely walks around the neighborhood in the mornings and the evenings. The street is a bit noisy, even at night, but other than that, it's a great location!

Great Place to StayPosted Mar 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our stay here. Only two negatives were that the lobby could use some improvement and there was no vent in the bathroom so showering would steam up to the whole bathroom. Other than that, easy access to the metro system; walking distance to Bastille, Le Marais, and Hotel de Ville; and little street noise at night night.
