Excellent english speaking staffPosted Jul 17, 2014
Good room, lots of storage, air conditioning excellent. Easy to use ecpresso/hot water machine in room makes really good expresso. Location of hotel very good for walking and transit. Small supermarket just a block away. Small fridge in room. Only lacked a microwave. I was worried that the price was high for a small room but it turned out to be a good value for three or even four people. I was quite pleased.

Amazing views from room 602Posted May 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
The best things about our stay at the Plaza Etoile was the view, the extra large room, and the king size bed. We had a direct view of the Tour Eiffel and the Arche de Triomphe, this alone made our stay extra special. As we were only there for a few nights, we splurged on the extra large room, it was very comfortable, and the king sized bed meant we slept great and woke up refreshed. The room was clean enough but there were a few signs of wear and tear but no deal breakers for us. The staff were friendly and helpful, but they could do more to give the service and the lobby more of a Paris flair. The lobby is a bit tired, we walked past other 3 star hotels and the lobby's were much, much nicer, but none had the possibility of the same great view. This hotel is all about the view from 602, 502, and maybe a few other rooms (601 and 501).

Friendly staff and great locationPosted May 23, 2014
Pros: The staff & The location. I have to highlight the role of two in particular. Eric ( family name unknown) & Joana Maciel
Location: 2 Mins from Arc, 6 mins from Champs Elyse on foot . Great bar/ restaurant across the road.
As with all things , the people make the difference . Stafff at this hotel go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to ensure you have the best stay possible. We will be back again!

Nice hotel, very close to Arc De TriumphPosted May 14, 2014
Pros: Fantastic location, not overly priced. Just the kind of hotel you need when on a short break. Staff were friendly, room was in excellent condition
Cons: From my experience, nothing really based on the size/ cost of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again if I visited Paris.
Location: Close to Arc De Triumph and less than a 3 minute walk from the Charles De Gaulle-Etoille metro station and Champs-Elysees
Fantastic experience. Hotel staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Check in took a swift 5 minutes and the receptionist provided the free (as part of my deal at least) WIFI credentials without me even asking for it. I previously stayed at another hotel close-by which was very good too, but I remember the room being extremely small. The room in this hotel was an average sized double bedroom, with space to put luggage on the side or in a cupboard. The room included a safe and free coffee/ tea making facilities. There were lots of local cafes and restaurants close-by as well chains such as Quick Quality Burger, McDonalds, Starbucks, and Pomme De Pain (all on the same road within 2 minutes of the hotel).

great value and locationPosted Apr 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall it's an okay place. They had outside renovation when we were there (of course that has not been mentioned before). They charge 9EUR for cup of coffee in the lobby before 11am (after 11am it is free), so the Starbucks next door is very helpful. Internet is not reliable, usually it does not work about an hour each day. Also, they post information about 17EUR airport shuttle, this is not true, actually it's 70EUR (so just take the taxi or bus). Other than that, it's your typical small room, great location hotel, good value for Paris.

Great clean hotel, but small.Posted Apr 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great hotel. The room was very clean and the staff was quite friendly. The room we stayed in was small though, which is why it was cheap. Great location too, very close to the metro and down the road from the arc de triomph.

Outstanding hotel very close to champs élysées and metro station so all of Paris is easy to get to. Julien and his staff were excellent and are very friendly and helpful. If you stay here you won't be disappointed.

Just okay.............Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Most of the staff are very helpful. (though there are many front desk people, so you may never encounter the same one twice.)
Cons: breakfast room, cleanlieness, and communication.
Location: Great location, Close to many things, A few blocks away from the Arc de Triomphe.
When booking was not told that renovations were being done on hotel. Our room had 3 large windows with a nice view, unfortunatlely the view we got was plastic and scaffolding. Not only that, but we had to stay in darkness since the men working were RIGHT there!! Also, whether we liked it or not, we were getting up early, due to the noise of the workers. The room itself had an overwhelming odor of cleaning products (again, opening the windows was not an option) and the bathroom shower was full of mold. We booked with a the breakfast. The breakfast room was so small, that half of our visit we were not able to sit anywhere. (a few times we left without eating, and a few times we brought it back to the room and ate on our bed) There is no way they can accomodate even 1/2 of their guests there. Do your research on this hotel before booking. They say there is a bar, but it is just a wall with bottles on it, next to check in, no one working there.
