Nice central Paris locationPosted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Location and convenience
This hotel was central to everything and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Walk to everywhere, and heaps of cafés and restaurants in the immediate area. Room was small, but good by paris standards. Asking for a room at the rear would be best to avoid front hotel traffic noise

Great location, wonderful staff, and parisian feelPosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The location was the best part of this hotel because we were able to walk everywhere which saved us a lot of money and the staff was also helpful.
Cons: The decor needed to be updated although it really made us feel like we were in Paris and the price of breakfast was a little steep.
Location: The Louvre and Notre Dame ten minute walk, Eiffel Tower 45 minute walk, cruise on the Seine River 5 minute walk, and St. Germain area 5 minute walk.
My husband and i stayed at Hotel Prince De Conti for 3 consecutive nights in August for our honeymoon. We flew into the CDG Airport and took the metro to the hotel and from the metro station to the hotel it was about a ten minute walk. We chose this hotel because it was walking distance to many of the main attractions in Paris, but we were still nervous about the location and size of the bathroom (my husband is a big guy and it would have been a bummer to have a small shower). Luckily the location was on a quiet and safe street close to the St. Germain area of Paris and to all the attractions. We stayed in a superior double room and the bed was perfect for the both of us. The bathroom was a great size that included a good size shower. The room itself had a very Parisian feel (as does the entire hotel) which also means that it was quite small. We were able to fit our suitcases in comfortable places, but if the room was any smaller it would have been difficult to figure out where to put them. The staff was very friendly and helpful whether we asked for directions, suggestions on where to have dinner, or how to pronounce something in French. We thought that 15 euro a person for breakfast was a little steep (there are several bakeries in the area where you can spend that for two people) so we did not have breakfast at the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but if someone were looking for a large room that they can spend a lot of time in then this is not the place for you.

Perfect Paris LocationPosted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: LOCATION / quiet / charming / tasteful / clean / good breakfast
Location: St Germain / Latin Quarter simply stunning. To avoid queues Louvre and D'Orsay have late openings on certain days.
The hotel is perfectly located for most of the major central attractions and also for St Germain and the Latin Quarter with numerous stunning streets and cafes. Hotel is very charming, friendly helpful staff are there for information and advice. Air conditioning was a treat and the room we had overlooked the courtyard and was very quiet. The street the hotel is on is also quiet which was a blessing. The room was spotless and cleaned everyday. This hotel is charming and would definately stay again :):)

Excellent location within easy walk of NDamePosted Aug 13, 2014
Cons: Modernisation of rooms,
Location: Excellent central point
hotel room very tired, curtains didn't close properly, (they didn't meet in the middle) Fridge in room didn't work this was reported each day of our 4 day stay (The weather was very hot and use of the mini bar would have been useful) Breakfast at 15euros was expensive so we didn't use this facility The kettle in the room was no where near a socket

Great--exceptPosted Jul 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, can't beat the location and the room was lovely along with the staff until on our last day we needed to arrange a transfer to the airport. The guy at the front desk had been very helpful so we asked him what the cheapest way to get to CDG would be and he advised us a taxi for 40-60 euros. I had a flyer for a shared van service that I showed him and asked if that would be cheaper. He instantly said that would easily be 60 euros or more so we asked him to go ahead and book the taxi. When we came back that evening, a different guy was at the desk and we just wanted to confirm our taxi for the next morning and everything was booked and ready to go, this guy asked us if there was any reason we were using a taxi versus a shared van service that is usually around 25 euros? !?!? I then looked at his note pad with the reservation written down and noticed the word 'comision' written down and asked what that was he informed me rather nervously that it was a note reminding everyone that this taxi is his commission. We definitely should have checked out our options online, etc which is not anyone's fault but ours, but this just put a huge damper on our experience at the hotel being swindled like that--everything had been so lovely and for this guy to get his 10 euros or whatever we now have a sour taste in our mouth.

Great location. Hotel carpet is not ideal.Posted Jul 19, 2014
Hotel is in a perfect location for all attractions. The carpet in room is old and not too clean. The bathtub had some algae and just not up to par for the price.

Typical Paris intimate hotel , brilliant locationPosted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: The hotel is in a classic Paris street and is necessarily small so the rooms are neat but have everything you might need.
Location: Rue guegenaut opens onto the Pont Neuf so ideally located for Ile de la cite with Notre Dame and also the Rue St Germain.
Easy to locate if you can recall the spelling of the street name!

Very disappointing...Posted May 11, 2014
Pros: Great location
Cons: Very dated interior, not working sockets and lamps
The hotel looks fabulous only on their website and it's very disappointing to find out that the reality was different. We have been told that the superior room we booked wasn't available and it's been replaced with another room at the back, the court yard room was shocking, no fridge, kettle , tea/coffee, the bed almost touching the door leading to the small patio. We refused it and the next option was a room on the 4th floor facing the street, although the room had a distinctive cigarettes smell ( smokers room), we took it as it was much better than the one at the court yard. It was noisy but only early in the morning and on Sunday after midnight from the night club nearby. There was a lots of dump around the windows. The good thing was that the location of the hotel was great.
