Elegance Near the ArcPosted Nov 18, 2014
Cons: The minibar person should honor the Do Not Disturb sign.
Location: Avenue des Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, Place de Concorde, Grand Palais
Lovely old world elegance without being (too) stuffy. Beautifully located steps from the Metro and a block and a half from the Arc de Triomphe. And the buffet breakfast is beyond compare in a room at the corner of the first floor that is both grand and comfy. We love it.

Schönstes Luxushotel in ParisPosted Sep 22, 2014

Not worth the $$$$$ - Very Stuffy and StiffPosted Sep 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
First of all, if you are traveling transatlantic and arriving in the early morning, don't expect to be able to check into a room before 2pm or 3pm. Hotel front desk clerk (older man) is the rudest and most arrogant hotel employee I have ever encountered. No compassion for the weary traveler and is flippant and non-accommodating. This was the second time my husband and I stayed here in the last year or so and should have not stayed a second time--first time same thing but was hoping for a different experience upon our check-in. Unfortunately, he was there again and rude again. I would stay at the Hotel Baltimore--less $$ and friendly place! Also, $50 USD for breakfast is ridiculous!! Pros: great location, wonderful rooftop view

5 star price 3 star hotelPosted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Lobby is nice
Cons: Rooms updating is a must
I travel allot and stay always in 5 star priorities , had high hopes for this classic Paris style hotel , however couldn't have been disappointed more. Stayed in a suite , the room is old , bathroom small and in bad need of updating as the entire room does. The carpet is so faded and stained its hard to tell what was its original color , I love this tradinital style hotels especially in a city like Paris , but in this case it just feels old and outdated and not in a good way. This hotel rooms are at 3 star level , at this price point you can do much better.

A Jewel of a HotelPosted Jun 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were truly surprised at how spacious and beautiful our room was. We had a lovely view (albeit the construction across the street). But the rooftop terrace really set this hotel apart from all the others we had stayed in previously . The service, staff, food and stunning lobby only enhanced our experience. Plus, the convenience to public transportation and the metro cannot be beat. We will definitely return!
