Good location near most attractions

Posted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Location, lobby
Cons: bathrooms -funky smell like an out house, drain would not drain, matresses were old, chairs and sofas should be cleaned & re stuffed, rugs dirty
Location: Walk to arc de triomph, all areas
This hotel was built in 1925 and has not been properly updated in many areas since then. One would have to enjoy staying in a museum. Try sitting on a sofa that has not been re stuffed or cleaned since 1925. Not a 5 star as it has been sold. 2.5 would be close to its star level.

Great location, great staff, great room

Posted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: The Jr. Suite was the perfect spot to launch adventure and return in comfort.
Cons: Hotel food and beverage prices were a bit overboard. Paris is expensive, but 18 Euros for two cups of coffee is ludicrous.
Location: There were not any nearby shops or nice restaurants, but that yielded the quiet location. The Kleber Metro stop can get you anywhere fast.
Quiet, yet amazingly close to everything. The staff is English-fluent and American-friendly. Amazingly close to everything via the Kleber metro stop 75 feet from the door. 5 minute walk to Arc d'Triomphe and the Etoile metro. Tastefully appointed Jr. Suite was excellent. The hotel coffee is too expensive, but the overall ambience is first-class.

Fabulous location near Arc de Triomphe

Pros: Friendly staff, rooftop bar, elegant furnishings
This is a quintessential French hotel with lovely decor. We received a beautiful fruit and candy tray upon arrival. The suite was large with amazing closet and drawer space behind gorgeous wood veneer cabinets. The bathroom was extremely large with a window that opened for ventilation. The Metro was conveniently located outside the front door and the Champs d'Elysse was a short walk. Great shopping the other direction of Ave Victor Hugo. Would stay there again and again.

a few let downs

Posted Feb 26, 2013
room not made up as a twin as requested and the member of staff who showed as the room simply through of the bedcover leaving it dumped on a chair and pushed the beds apart with no regard for the other furniture in the room. Also the room was far too hot and the air conditioning mechanism was not working at all.

Charming and Elegant

Posted Jan 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved the charm and elegance of this hotel. The room was beautiful (Deluxe King Room) and service was friendly and excellent. The only negatives were that the bar and restaurant were extremely over priced (even more than you'd expect from an upscale hotel) and the walls and floors are very thin.

Romantic~Great hotel for couple

Pros: room style
Location: close to the avenue de champs elysees.
located in the center of Paris. close to Avenue de champs elysees. Stuffs are super friendly. the room is in old french style, its good for people who wants to have experience of live in the France. Rate is reasonable compare with other 5 star hotels around that area. I will definitely stay there again during my next visit.
