Great location

Posted Apr 15, 2014
For my first trip to Paris, this Hotel was ideal - great location and close to a metro stop. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good choice at breakfast (cereal, croissants, pastries, yoghurts, cheese, breads and jams.) Very clean room, basic facilities but just what was needed for a short break. I would recommend the hotel and would go back and stay there again.

Nice hotel near to Louvre and Eiffel Tower

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location......and staff!
Cons: Provide a microwave and small frig in the chambers.
Location: Nearby walking distance: Louvre museum, orsee museum
"Slim" and Laurence and Simmone (the 'breakfast lady) go out of their way to ensure your comfort each and every day. They both went above and beyond in helping me with several issues that I had during my stay. For example when my card was debited for a metro card I never received from the machine at the metro station, Slim went with me to straighten it out with the metro card clerk at the station. He also helped me in printing out my return boarding passes on the hotel's desk computer. The room we stayed in was quite small, but overall it was comfortable, affordable and close to anything and everything you could either walk to or easily take the metro and find. Bravo!

Great Location

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: The best thing about the Hotel is the great staff;
Cons: Stop advertising a buffet breakfast or serve something more substantial. All you can eat of various breads and cereals is not appreciated!
Location: The location is not too far off from Central Paris. Nice French Cafe' and pizza restaurant is located within a few minute walk from the Hotel...
Conveniently located to downtown Paris and located close to the Hop-on Hop-Off Tour Bus route. The room was clean, quaint and quiet. However, for the price way too small; even for Paris. I am a frequent traveler to Paris; I travel frequently and on a regular basis; visiting multiple European Cities and South East Asia.. One should know what they advertise as a buffet breakfast is only various types of bread and cereal with juice and coffee.

Convenient walk to most key attractions

Posted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: The rooms were beautiful. Except for the opening and closing of other guest doors, the rooms were relatively quiet.
Cons: An upgrade on the in-room amenities. Only liquid soap at sink and shower, no wash cloths, no iron or board.
Location: The locations is great and within 1-2 miles of most key attractions.
It was enjoyable staying at this hotel with its convenient locations and friendly eateries within a 1-2 blocks.

A charming romantic small hotel

Posted Jan 27, 2014
Pros: .This was my first visit to Paris and Hotel Saint Germaine was everything I hoped for in a Parisian hotel
We loved this hotel. We were within short walks to the Louvre and D'Orsay and lots of shopping. There are neighborhood restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. The staff is friendly and always went out of their way to answer our questions and make reservations for us. A great breakfast with fresh breads, croissants, and cereals. Everything in the hotel is super clean.

Nice hotel , enjoyed my stay

Posted Dec 31, 2013
Cons: To have a few triple sharing rooms for families
Rooms are a little small and they cannot add an extra bed which requires me to book an extra room when I arrive. However the counter staff had been very helpful and friendly. Overall a good experience !

Very convenient to museums bistros & Saint Germain

The hotel was an excellent value; rooms were small yet had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom excellent, and the breakfast (continental) hit the spot. Better filtered coffee than normally found for EU hotel breakfasts. Would not hesitate to stay at the same hotel again the next time we are in Paris!
