Great LocationPosted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sainte-Beuve! The location was great . . . close to 3 different Metro stops and less than a 10-minute walk to the RER for our trip to the airport. We also received great recommendations from the hotel staff for restaurants during our stay. The only reason I give "Cleanliness of your room" a 4 is we ran out of soap and tissue during our stay; the tissue was never replaced.

Loved itPosted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is a cheery, cozy, and inviting; staff - friendly and helpful. Emily the person we dealt with the most was a treasure. It was the perfect place for our stay in Paris. The hotel is on a small quiet street. There are metro stops nearby. The fabulous Luxembourg Gardens are close. There are several restaurants within walking distance and three very good ones located on the street itself. The place is a gem.

Ste.-Beuve Largely Measures UpPosted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Had 2 separate stays a week apart in 2 different rooms, the second of which was slightly better. Pluses are location, friendliness of staff, cleanliness, excellent cafe complet breakfast. Slight minuses were broken electrical outlet the first time; it was next to desk, making it harder to connect to internet. Desks in both rooms too low for chair, causing backache if one wanted to be on internet any length of time. Internet service a bit spotty (logins and password seemed to run out occasionally, but easy to get new ones). Perfectly pleasant experience.

Good HotelPosted Jul 25, 2013
Hotel location was near Luxemburg Gardens and many good restaurants. We found the staff always very helpful, even willing to print out street maps for us.. Breakfast was overpriced.

Wonderful HotelPosted Jun 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
My wife and I just spent 6 wonderful days at the Hotel Sainte Beuve. We enjoyed a comfortable room, great service, and a comfortable and convenient neighborhood. The staff met our every expectation and request. The rate we were able to get through Hotels.com was very good and we would definitely stay here again.

Great for couples long weekend in ParisPosted May 31, 2013
Pros: Location, staff, boutique style
Cons: Walls a little thin if chatty Americans also in residence.
Lovely little hotel. Rooms small but expected for boutique. Very helpful & polite staff and great location for 3 diff Metro stations, including direct to Eiffel Tower and Gare du Nord. Couple of restaurants on road well rated too and very plesant Luxembourg Gardens a short walk away. Great spot for a few days in Paris.

Pros: Price compared to other hotels.
Front desk staff was exceptional. Room was small but bathroom was.roomy enough to help make up for it. Good location...safe and close to Metro stop and Luxembourg gardens.

A charming hotel with uniquely decorated rooms.Posted Apr 9, 2013
Pros: The charming style of the hotel and the friendly staff.
Location: The location is in a safe and pleasant quarter with many good bars and restaurants. It is also close to public transport links.
A charming hotel in the attractive Montparnasse quarter, close to Saint-Germain-des-Pres and the Latin Quarter. The hotel has the feel of an individual/boutique hotel that will please people who are not looking for the uniform corporate style of the large chains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The reception area and bar are well furnished and comfortable (there was even an open fire). The 3 rooms that we used were uniquely decorated and very pleasant. The hotel is close to some very good bars and restaurants. It is also a short walk from metro stations on 3 different lines. We would happily stay there again.
