Very good hotel in a great location

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Me and my girlfriend had a great stay at this hotel! Very ideal for couples who are visiting Paris for the first time. Staff we're excellent - helped us with transport and had a great knowledge of the area! The only drawback was that there was no air conditioning in the room (but thats being really picky!)

Unaccommodating staff, off the beaten path locatio

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Nothing at all. We will never stay again and will recommend for others to AVOID also.
Cons: Customer service for sure!
Location: The location is sketchy. There were two homeless men bunked on the same street. You have to pass them to get to some restaurants in the plaza area.
Checking in smooth. Able to store luggage due to early arrival. 1st night we found two blood stains on the sheets. Called front desk several times. No answer. Got dressed & walked down to find 2 guys chatting in lounge area. When I explained what the problem was, both looked at me in disbelief. I invited one to come look himself. He looked as if he didn't know what to do. He changed the sheets for us & left. The next day, the manager told us that we could have breakfast at the hotel to remedy the inconvenience. When I complained that it was not sufficient, wear told nothing else can be done. We requested to switch rooms and they claimed none were available. Wifi did not work during entire stay. Was told to go to nearby McDonalds.

Pretty hotel in a good location

Posted Jun 29, 2014
This hotel was overpriced for what you get. It was blazing hot with no AC. We had to leave the windows open to sleep. It was in a pretty good location, only a short walk from the metro. I felt like this was too expensive to not even include breakfast or any special amenities. The hotel staff was nice, but when asked questions about dining, activities, etc. they were limited in advice. Very pretty, but nothing special.

Really nice hotel with decent size rooms

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Expedia site
Location: We loved our stay here the location was central enough with good and reasonably priced restaurants locally. We really liked the Cafe Renaissance.
This hotel was great for a 3 star and just what we needed for a weekend of sightseeing. The rooms and bathrooms look like they have been recently decorated and the whole place was very clean. The cul de sac location meant that night time was reasonably quiet. the staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good value and plenty of choice. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others

Not that close to Gare Du Norde

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Room ok
Cons: Don't say it is at Gare du Nord
Location: No further comment
Walked for 30 mins from station to hotel which was meant to be close to Gare du Nord.....not good at night with bags.

Nice for a short break

No sockets in the room to use to charge a mobile or a laptop/tablet. It is very annoying. Otherwise quite a comfortable room and pleasant staff.

Great location, very clean, would stay again.

Good all round hotel. For me the only problem was the lack of power sockets in the room, especially would be useful to jave a power socket by ur bedside. The room was cery clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a great location near the metro station and close to everything. We would definitely stay again.
