Not Great.Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: The staff were helpful and provided information when requested. Good English was spoken.
Cons: 1. The lift was poor. 2. My room was left open one day. 3. The safe deposit box was not fixed down.
Location: Not a great area but handy for the Metro and local rail stations.
This hotel is in a poor and run down area of Paris and I did not feel comfortable walking around at night. On the plus side, it is reasonably close to the Metro. My room was on the 6th floor and was very stuffy. Had to have window open all of the time and the fan running to keep cool. The bathroom needed to be updated and had installed the smallest bath I have ever seen. The shower over the bath was good. The lift was tiny, slow and looked to be very old. Of major concern was that I found my room open one day when I got back to the hotel. I am assuming that this was by the cleaning staff. There was nothing missing from the room so no harm done but it could have been so much worse. The staff on the reception desk were always helpful and spoke good English.

Friendly hotel close to metro linksPosted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Located well on the metro system giving easy access to most links.
Cons: Bathroom could do with a bit of an update.
Staff very helpful, all spoke good English if required. Quiet location not far from the place de republic which had a fab patisserie for first stop of the day.

Comfortable hotel near to station.Posted Aug 4, 2014
Great staff and pleasant room. There is a archway relatively close to hotel where homeless men live. Hence, I didn't feel safe walking back to hotel at night as it felt a bit edgy!

Mixed stay in this quaint hotelPosted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: I'd take the staff with me anywhere I stay- very friendly and approachable. A credit to Paris.
Cons: Just install air conditioning.
Location: Republique metro stop is pretty central to everything. 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Louvre etc.
Uncomfortable as there was no air conditioning- only a desk fan that blew warm air. However the room was clean and well maintained, even if it was only the size of a cupboard (the website pictures flatter the bedroom size).

Very good hotel in a great locationPosted Jul 18, 2014
Me and my girlfriend had a great stay at this hotel! Very ideal for couples who are visiting Paris for the first time. Staff we're excellent - helped us with transport and had a great knowledge of the area! The only drawback was that there was no air conditioning in the room (but thats being really picky!)

Unaccommodating staff, off the beaten path locatioPosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Nothing at all. We will never stay again and will recommend for others to AVOID also.
Cons: Customer service for sure!
Location: The location is sketchy. There were two homeless men bunked on the same street. You have to pass them to get to some restaurants in the plaza area.
Checking in smooth. Able to store luggage due to early arrival. 1st night we found two blood stains on the sheets. Called front desk several times. No answer. Got dressed & walked down to find 2 guys chatting in lounge area. When I explained what the problem was, both looked at me in disbelief. I invited one to come look himself. He looked as if he didn't know what to do. He changed the sheets for us & left. The next day, the manager told us that we could have breakfast at the hotel to remedy the inconvenience. When I complained that it was not sufficient, wear told nothing else can be done. We requested to switch rooms and they claimed none were available. Wifi did not work during entire stay. Was told to go to nearby McDonalds.

Pretty hotel in a good locationPosted Jun 29, 2014
This hotel was overpriced for what you get. It was blazing hot with no AC. We had to leave the windows open to sleep. It was in a pretty good location, only a short walk from the metro. I felt like this was too expensive to not even include breakfast or any special amenities. The hotel staff was nice, but when asked questions about dining, activities, etc. they were limited in advice. Very pretty, but nothing special.

Really nice hotel with decent size roomsPosted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Expedia site
Location: We loved our stay here the location was central enough with good and reasonably priced restaurants locally. We really liked the Cafe Renaissance.
This hotel was great for a 3 star and just what we needed for a weekend of sightseeing. The rooms and bathrooms look like they have been recently decorated and the whole place was very clean. The cul de sac location meant that night time was reasonably quiet. the staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good value and plenty of choice. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others
