Pros: The room was pleasant and adequate en-suite.
Cons: Maintenance of the services advertised needs attention.
Location: Within easy access to bars, restaurants and metro.
Stayed in October 2013 for two nights, Hotel approx 20 minutes walk from Gare Du Nord Station, located in a narrow street set away from the noisy district. The room was ok very quaint and reasonably sized, though side facing with not much of a view. Unfortunately it was up on the 4th floor and the elevator was out of order throughout our entire stay …very annoying. Also there was no Wi-Fi available in room or even throughout the hotel except down stairs in the lobby …very disappointing especially with the additional extra duties upon check in. Would we stay there again probably not.

Reasonably positioned and priced hotelPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Quiet, intimate and good location. Friendly staff did there best to make sure you were well looked after in a small hotel.
Cons: It would have been nice to sit down in the hotel lounge and have a drink or some food but not possible. We had to go out each evening to eat and drink
Location: Numerous restaurants, bistros and bars within short distance. Music and entertainment in some. Close to canal and Pompidou centre and metro
A little disconcerting when you come out of the hotel in the early evening,to find groups of men drinking and urinating in the road 25 yards from the hotel entrance. Upon returning each evening from restaurants people were sleeping in cardboard boxes once again just a short distance away. It seems that because the hotel is in a quiet secluded narrow street, off the main roads that this encourages this sort of behaviour. Good range of restaurants and bistros close to the hotel within walking distance and two metro stations also very close for traveling round the city. Takes approx. 1/2 hour to walk to the main sites along the Seine passing many shops bars and places to eat.

Nice hotel in the centre of ParisPosted Nov 1, 2013
The hotel is in a quiet part of Paris close to several metro stations. We bought the Paris Pass, so we found getting around Paris from here a doddle. We stayed in room 505 - a superior double room. The bed was massive! Lovely free toiletries and we woke up to a hot shower every morning. The only thing we didn't try was the breakfast. At €12 each we felt it was too expensive. There was a lovely patisserie on route to the Metro only a minute away that served croissants, pain au chocolat, crepes, etc for less than €2 each. The staff were helpful, friendly and each had a good grasp of English. We would definitely stay here again!

Not quite what we expectedPosted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: Helpful staff.
Cons: Maintenance on the bathroom. Improve lighing in rooms...was unable to read with existing light
Location: On the edge of a good district and a not so good area so in a way we got to experience different lifestyles!
We were in the annexe and whilst we knew the room would be small, it exceeded our expectations in smallness...it was tiny for two people! But the bathroom was worse. I am a small person but could hardly fit in the shower....never mind trying to bend down to pick up the soap! The door had no locking mechanism on it so wouldnt shut and the tiles were falling off the floor. Having said that, the room was decorated nicely and it was lovely to have a window that opened. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Your Review Hotel Taylor When I arrived at the Hotel the staff told me that the lift was broken and it wouldn't be fixed till Monday. My room was on 4 floor. I do have a damaged knee and it was very hard for me to go up and down on the stairs. The wi-fi wasn't working either in the room, The safe in the room was disconnected so I had no safe place to leave my passport, my money and my jewellery. I had to ask the reception to keep all at the reception. The member of the staff who attended me was so rude and didn't show any sympathy and basically told me that everything it was my problem and I should complain to the company I bought the deal from in this case Expedia.co.uk. I am very disappointed because this hotel it was not cheap. Nothing was offered to compensate all the trouble I had. Not even a complimentary breakfast or else. I take this opportunity to complaint about this disastrous experience and I deserved a compensation. So I do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pretty hotelPosted Sep 24, 2013
Lovely hotel in a great location. A typically pretty Parisian room with a comfortable large bed. Everything you need for a short stay in Paris.

ConvenientPosted Sep 21, 2013
Pros: Not expensive.
Location: See above. Also can walk down to canal and to the creperie Lulu.
10 mins walk from Gare du Nord. Convenient for eating out. We only stayed one night - not luxurious if staying a week or two. Perfectly pleasant and adequate.
