The staff were very kind and helpful. When reserving the room, I stated 2 adults and one child, however, upon arrival there was a crib (pack and play), not a pullout couch for our 8 year old. Looking at the website hotel room, a couch was in the picture. There were no couches in the room therefore a folding cot was provided. It collapsed twice on the child. The couches in the photo were only in the eating area of the hotel. The location was quite good in the 7th district providing us a view of the Eiffel Tower. Many bakeries, restaurants and shops in the area.

It was a good stay. I did enjoy the themes of the rooms. It was such a unique style. Staff was very friendly and room was clean. My only comment would be the shower, It was a bathtub with hand wand nozzle only. No stand up shower.

We stayed here for 4 nights, the first of which was a Friday. When we first checked in to our room, room 3, I was really delighted as it looked out over Rue St. Dominique and was so cute. But when we came home from dinner out that night at about 11:30, we found there was a raging party going on in the Brasserie, and we could hear every note of the piano and stereo music. We asked at the front desk and were told it would last until "1:30 or 2:00 at the latest" and that these parties where "only on Fridays and Saturdays." That was really no comfort to us as it was half our (quite expensive) stay. The next morning we asked to move rooms and the staffer very nicely agreed and moved us to room 17 at the opposite end of the building, where we had no further problems. My beef is not with either of the staffers we spoke with, but rather the management of the hotel trying to have it both ways by hosting these parties and booking unsuspecting hotel guests into a clearly unsuitable room.

We had a wonderful week long stay. Room always was very clean, quiet and friendly staff. The location cannot be beat as it was close to everything. Safe and beautiful neighbourhood and you can see the Eiffel Tower sparkle right outside the door !

This was an amazing property at a prime location. My husband and I were able to explore all Districts by walking. This hotel is in a prime location for great Eiffel Tower pictures. They serviced our room everyday. We even got a special treat for Easter. Additionally, I’d highly recommend having breakfast here. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast with excellent service. When we come back to Paris we will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hotel, cannot recommend this place enough! It was our first time in Paris. Staff were friendly and helpful, the area was in perfect vicinity of tourist attractions (Eiffel Tower can be seen from hotel). Great local food options nearby and metro station right there.

The hotel location was perfect for getting around. There are several conveniences located on the same street- grocery and pharmacy stores, great restaurants, etc. My room was quiet and well furnished. The only thing missing for me was a way to plug-in/charge via USB and I wish the lighting in the bedroom was brighter. I also had a hard time getting the room to cool down with the AC but ended up being ok because the windows opened. The staff was very nice and greeted me daily. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Everyone should stay here! I had some issues with Expedia, and the staff did everything in their power to fix the issues and make sure my trip was amazing, even answering questions I had before I even arrived. From the moment I stepped into the hotel they were receptive, helpful, and extremely friendly. You are literally steps from so many attractions, restaurants, cafes, shops, and the metro, and it was always so easy to find a cab. Every morning when you walk through the lobby you are greeted with a friendly familiar face, which was especially important to me as a woman traveling alone. The hotel is small, only a few rooms, snd and the one downside is that there are no elevators ( which wasn’t an issue for me but if you are unable to take stairs you shouldn’t stair here) the staff helped me bring my bags up and down the stairs as I needed. I stayed in the deluxe room and the decor was gorgeous. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone staying in Paris and will stay here again when I come back!

It is located in a very good neighborhood, 10 minutes walking from the Eiffel Tower and very close to main attractions. The hotel room can improve the carpet has stain which make me feel uncomfortable. The paper wall is falling apart and they don’t give you key for the main door of the hotel. There is a nice gentleman all night but my concern was, what if at any point i have to go in or out and the man was at the bathroom. Anyways, if i go back to Paris and the give me room number 12 ill take it again because of the location. There is no lift that is why i remark room 12. You can take a beautiful picture of the tower from the hotel and can have good breakfast around the hotel

We really liked our experience at this property. It was the boutique experience we were looking for. Understood that as a place in the heart of the city that it doesn't have a lift, but we didn't mind the climb and appreciated the top floor room. Super easy walk to the Eiffel Tower and the army museum, two attractions that were high on our list. Small mark down on eco score because it seems they might easily provide a recycling bin rather than the sole trash can that was in the room, but otherwise very recommended place to stay.

Beautiful hotel in a great neighborhood. Room was very comfortable. The hotel is older so there are some blemishes but would highly recommend to anyone. Very short walk to Eiffel Tower, lots of charming cafes bars and shops all on this block!

Do NOT stay at this hotel Thoumieux in Paris. This review won’t be long enough. The breakfast is horrible. Zero options. There are strategically places holes in the walls of the bathroom that I filled with tissue. There’s a party in the restaurant downstairs every night so it’s crowded and loud. Worst part is as an international traveler they waited until I was on my flight and fraudulently charged my card. They sent fake receipts of a refund that never happened. This is a very seedy establishment. Thieves. Holes in the bathroom. Horrible food and zero options. I’m not the only person this has happened to. Do your research they even have reviews for bugs in their rooms. Please do your research beforehand. Don’t find out the way I did. I also have pictures to support all I am saying. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!!!!!

There is not an elevator so that’s disappointing. The lighting in the rooms are horrible. You have to turn on all the lights and angle them so you can see. It’s located ina great area and the rooms are comfy. Just those couple of things that would make it better.

We love this hotel, it's our third visit. But we had cold showers every day due to a problem with their hot water system. It's strange that the rooms don't come with a safe. And many of the rooms have a bath only with a hand shower attachment, which again is a little bit strange. The area is fantastic, the staff are lovely, and the rooms are beautiful to sit in.. We will come back again although I hope next time they fix the hot water!

THE BEST HOTEL IN PARIS
Our stay at the Hotel Thoumieux was nothing short of amazing. The hotel staff was EXTREMELY kind/helpful (all spoke good English). They made our stay amazing! The rooms were just as cute and cozy as they look online, and the hotel is central to so many amazing sites. We walked everywhere, including the Eiffel Tower (10-ish min walk), and all the great Museums (15-20-ish min walk). It's in a very safe area, and we felt totally fine walking around at night. The restaurant downstairs had the best food we tried our entire week there. We will 100% be coming back to this same place!
