“Hotel Touraine Opera Paris”
Hotel is good , clean and the people there very friendly . Rooms are very small . Clean and good for somebody who is not interested in the hotel itself ( just for sleeping the night ) . Breakfast is good . Location is fantastic and close to all the main interesting places . Internet service not free . Tv very small with only few channels . Overall a good hotel . I will go back there again .
“A very good choice for the short-term traveler to Paris”
Everything was as expected at Hotel Touraine Opera - easy to find, close to the subway, only source of noise was traffic on an adjacent street (but otherwise the street of the hotel per se is quite quiet considering the area...). I didn't try the breakfast. There is a small supermarket just across the hotel where u can find water, food, and toiletries, as needed. For a shopping spree, the Galleries Lafayettes super-store is a five-minute walk away. I think it's very good quality for money, though of course the room is small (especially the toilet/WC itself) but that's fine, it's Paris after all. The internet connection costs 7 euros for 24 hours (and its extremely fast). For 25 euros, you can arrange for the hotel shuttle to the airport, make sure to leave 4 hours before the flight [if you travel during the daytime], the guys make a lot of stops, and Paris is a big city... The staff at the reception was polite and courteous, and gave us all the info we ever requested. Overall, my w/e stay of three days was very uneventful, as it should have been. Highly recommended for the short-term traveler to Paris.
“Good luck.”
The location of the hotel is very convenient for shoppers, yet the repair and maintenance activities are low quality, for a hotel of this rating.
“Do not request rooms in the back, Exc clean bathrooms 10”
We felt this hotel front desk people were very polite and helpful especially the day staff. The first rm 104 was claustrophobic , in the back. The management knew we had requested to be in the back but the street is very quiet . He moved us to the front of building on the 4 th floor our 3rd nite. We were very, comfortable there. Quite a walk from the center of sights.
“Exactly what we wanted!”
We so enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Touraine Opera. The staff was amazing to us the entire time we were there, even mailing our postcards for us (as we had to leave so early in the morning!) and helping us confirm our plans along the way. Our room was small, but very clean and equipped with a large new bathroom. (large bathroom in a small hotel in Europe is almost unheard of.) We were given a choice of two rooms, one on the street and one in the back, but after examining both rooms, and realizing that we weren't planning on enjoying a view from the room anyways, we took the room in the back and were treated with silence all night long. We did not partake in the continental breakfast as we were more interested in exploring as many goodies along our walks, but it was available, as was internet in the loby and laundry service. The hotel was very easy to find and very near to the Metro, which was great for exploring Paris! I would reccommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in Paris. I will be happy to return again. In fact, I have already started looking into planning our next trip to Paris and will definately book here again!
