A charming historic hotel in the sixth arr. the staff were friendly and so helpful. A wonderful breakfast every morning. We walked all around at night and had no issues. The metro is a block away.

It is great place and walkable to best shopping place Bon Marché and la Grande Épicerie de Paris.

The hotel is small but had a uniqueness to it. Very clean. Breakfast was good. Metro just around the corner. Two stores close by to get food or snacks. The restaurant next door was excellent to eat and drink. Bakery around the corner had excellent sandwiches and pastries as well as the coffee. If I return to Paris I would definitely return to Hotel Vaneau.

Hotel itself was great, the staff is great, lost of good places to eat around the hotel and the train station is literally a minute walk away. Do not recommend if you have a stroller and are staying on the 5th or 6th floor. Elevator (which is tiny) only goes up to 4th floor. Other than that had an amazing stay

Nice and cozy place to stay with excellent personnel at front desk. There are three things recommended for improvement which are the elevator that at the most is for 3 max with carryon luggage and the alternative is to use the stairs which is a good workout session. Second the shower that is very very very small/narrow and third improve cleaning because I had to clean the shower because of visible mold. Hope this areas can improve because overall the hotel has a good location, well decorated and good breakfast.

Pleasant hotel in the 6th
Excellent location in the 6th. Compact room but has everything you need. Bed was comfortable. Property is reasonably well maintained but showing its age. Staff was very pleasant.

Great little spot
Lovely little hotel in Vaneau. There's a Metro less than half a block. The rooms are small but it is Paris so it is very comfortable. They do have a lift for the first 4 floors but you need to walk up a couple of flights if you're on the 5 or 6 floors. Easy access to St Germain restaurants and a good walk from all the major attractions. very friendly and helpful staff that speak multiple languages

This was one of the few hotels that offered two-bed rooms. The room was small but comfortable. There was a buzzing noise that could be heard every 30 seconds, that was annoying. However, it is a comfortable hotel, conveniently located near the metro, stores, and restaurants.

The room was extremely clean and for a three star hotel hotel very good. The problem was with the bathtub. The tub is very high and difficult to get in, especially for seniors. My husband fell while trying to get in. Also there should be a rubber mat as the floor of tub is slippery. When I asked about a mat the man at the reception was rather curt and said you didn’t have any. Not very polite. Perhaps on France people don’t sue, if a guest were to get hurt. Buying mats would be a very small expense to solve a potentially very expensive one, should someone take you to court. Otherwise a very nice place to stay!

Staff was very helpful in giving directions and taking care of our bags. Had a wonderful stay here. There's a cafe right outside which was also great for breakfast. Would recommend for anyone looking in the Vaneau area

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Our room had a balcony which was perfect. The only negatives were the blue daylight bulbs in the lamps - we had to drape clothing over them to soften the light, and the tiny shower cubicle. Other than that, perfect and we would definitely book here again… as long as we can have the same room!

Friendly staff, easy check-in. Room was clean and good size. Beds were comfortable, nice clean linens. Mini-refrigerator in room. Good size bathroom included nice assortment of soaps and other products. Free wifi. Luggage storage after checkout. Only small issue was that small nightstand next to bed was poorly constructed and seemed like it might fall apart. We would happily stay here again.

Hotel Vaneau was a perfect stay for us! We had a spacious triple room and enjoyed every detail of our week there. The front desk people were friendly and helpful; the breakfast area was pleasant and the food and drink were excellent; all the staff were so nice and our room was beautifully appointed and clean. We loved having the water bottle to fill ourselves, and the option to open windows when the weather was nice. When we return to Paris would definitely plan another stay at this lovely hotel.

Lovely hotel, good price, and location was great. Very walkable to lots of sights and although some of the hotel was a bit outdated, it still was in good shape and mostly charming. The bathroom was very updated and the sleeping area/bed were very comfortable. There was some moderate amount of outside noise, which was not too bad since it’s a city, but not a big tourist area. We seldom heard any noise in the middle of the night. Could not have asked for a better value for the location!

My husband and I returned to this hotel after staying here years prior for our honeymoon. We were very pleased! The staff was wonderful and helpful! The room was super clean! Our baby was constantly crawling on the floor and touching everything and it was all as clean as can be! The location is ideal for a quick trip to Paris. The metro is just a few feet away and there is a good restaurant right outside of the hotel, with many more restaurants a few blocks away! I’m happy we stayed here again and will likely stay here again on our next trip! Highly recommend!

The hotel was small and quaint, but had personality and an authentic French feel. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The air conditioning in our room was out so it was uncomfortable and the hotel was really unable to compensate us for the inconvenience. Also I didn’t like the fact that there wasn’t an iron available in the room. We had to get one from the front desk and return it when done.

Small hotel in a neighborhood and not tourist areas. Didn't like the shower arrangement, needs a mat and water went everywhere. Toilet flush splashed out. Twin bed old and a little too firm. Nice for a neighborhood hotel and priced right.
