Paris with the GirlsPosted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: You pay for the location but its great. Very clean, the beds comfortable and the staff was somewhat helpful but not friendly.
Cons: The 15 e breakfast is ridiculously over priced. Just get the 2 e coffee and get breakfast elsewhere. The showers are exceptionally small.
Location: 2 grocerie stores across the street + a metro stop next door and resto and shopping near by
A group of five women in Paris for one week to celebrate our friend's 40th birthday. We packed in as much as possible in a very short period of time. We were grateful for the convenient location. I would stay there again though you may find a better price in a less expensive neighbourhood.

Clean, efficient, great locationPosted May 2, 2014
Pros: Central and quiet. Very clean
Cons: If they could build a 25 m swimming pool in this hotel would be amazing
Location: Good restaurants and cafes near by, supermarkets very close and some great shops too. About 3 stops from all the galleries.
About 3 stops from Champs-Elysees/Louvre with 3 choices of metro station. Or you can walk it 40mins or run it 12mins. 3 or 4 excellent restaurants down the road in Vaneau. Perfect if you want to be central, but away from the tourist hordes in Montmartre. This area is still properly residential.

Great location and staffPosted May 2, 2014
Pros: The staff were fabulous, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was hard to beat, it felt safe and friendly, and was close to the sights.
Cons: The TV remote didn't work for changing channels, the wallpaper was scuffed and dirty in places in the room. The AC didn't really work.
Location: It's close to two metro stations and a relatively easy walk to the Eiffel Tower. There are two local supermarkets about 1 minute walk away.
We were greeted by a lovely lady on the reception desk who spoke very good English - as did all the staff we spoke to during our short stay. The room itself was comfortable - the bed was lovely, I slept like a log both nights. The bathroom was super clean, with a good size shower and bath. The gentleman on reception in the evening on the first night gave us a great recommendation to a local brasserie, one that wasn't too touristy and a short walk away. The brasserie underneath the hotel on the corner was very friendly, the waiter again spoke great English and they even had an English version of their menu. The hotel has a lift, but it is tiny (you can fit about 3 people in it if they like each other quite a lot) and only goes up to the fourth floor - we were on the sixth floor. The AC in the room didn't really work but the windows opened wide and so we were able to keep cool, but I don't think I'd have enjoyed it much in the summer! The wireless was a bit dodgy but they use a third party company for that, who I think were having problems. The hotel staff were really nice about us repeatedly asking for new auth codes to get on the wireless network. We didn't try the breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. The location is fabulous with supermarkets, brasseries, a post office and a cashpoint close, and it's an easy walk to several of the sights. The area felt relatively safe to be in after dark.

Great location, great valuePosted Apr 10, 2014
Cons: Internet access, a shelf in the tiny shower.
A quirky place but great for economy. Beds comfortable with fine linen, 11' ceilings offset a smallish room. Big bathroom but postage stamp shower, Helpful staff, awful Internet. Fine location. Not fancy but a very satisfactory experience.

The hotel room was very small but clean.Posted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: One lady at the desk went out of her way to be helpful re arranging outings etc.
Cons: Our TV didn't work and somehow we weren't there for it to be fixed.
Location: It was easy to connect to sightseeing places via the metro. Good and inexpensive restaurant right on the corner.
There was little space to put toiletries in the bathroom for example. Quite convenient to connect with the underground system for travel (metro).

Great value for money hotelPosted Feb 7, 2014
Pros: Value, clean, comfortable, location
Cons: Hate to say it but the wallpaper was peeling everywhere on the stairs going up to our room!
Location: Great location next to metro station and nice restaurants and shops next to the hotel, you really don't have to spend a fortune dining near here.
No frills hotel but convenient location next to metro and many affordable cafes, bakeries and convenience stores. Great value and everything you need for a pleasant stay.
