Excellent location

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pro: This hotel is located in the best area where some attractions are walking distance. Room is very clean, and bathroom is well upgraded. Con: despite my request online to have a quite room, this room is very noisy and I had trouble to sleep the first night.

Paris

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: The bed!
Cons: Get a map the very first moment you walk in and familiarize yourself with it. We got lost around the corner twice; we are used to traveling.
Location: Museum, Park, Eiffel tower, Lafayette.
Though they offer room service it is not very fast. The front desk staff is very pleasing but the room service was not very good. Central location, close to the museum and the Eiffel tower. For location it deserves a 5.

Nice Old Hotel.

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Liked the old classic feel to the hotel, especially the lobby area. Also really liked the look, feel and staff in Duke's Bar.
Cons: Enlarge the elevator. Provide an ala carte menu for breakfast, so that one can have a coffee and croissant without having to pay for a full buffet.
Location: Great location in walking distance to Louvre, Opera House, Notre Dame, Champs Elysees, and metro station. Next to high-end shops and jewelers.
Our family of 4 stayed in two rooms at this hotel for 7 days on our vacation trip to Paris. The rooms were old but comfortable. The lock on one of the doors stopped working, but the hotel promptly repaired it when we brought it their attention. The floors were old and squeaked when we walked on them, but, surprisingly, we did not hear squeaky floors or people walking above us. The elevator is incredibly small and barely had room for 2 people with 2 suitcases...the other two had to take the stairs.

Classy older hotel

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Location & overall feel, elegant
Cons: Add electrical outlets.
Very nice hotel in good location. Easy walk to Opera House, cafes close by. Rooms were quiet. Only negatives were rooms were on the smaller side with lack of electrical outlets in the bathroom except for one specified for electric shaver only. But overall, a very pleasant stay!

I was not impressed with this hotel. Location was great but the hotel needs some renovation. The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows poor quality. The hair dryer didn't work and there wasn't a plug in the bathroom to use a converter. Thankfully we were there only one night.

Great location for sights, in the jewelry qtr

Lovely staff, we wanted traditional French styke and we got it. Beautiful hotel. Our room was upgraded from a veldome room to a suite. It was stunning and perfect. Didn't eat here at all or use the bar, breakfast cost 30 euros each so didn't do that either. Would definitely book again. Chaps beware though you are right next to Cartier, Bulvgari and Tiffinys.

Good hotel, perfect location. Big problem for non smokers - smoking aloud in all rooms.

Hotel Westminster

Even though this is a decent location I would not stay at this hotel again. We were completely robbed on a cup of coffee and water. Eve though the bar attendant informed us that coffee was free we were charged 7 euro for one saucer. That is completely outrageous. Coffee should be free at the hotel if asked for, paying 7 euro is completely insane and an act of robbery. I personally had to help my friend with her luggage down a small flight of stairs while the staff watched. The room was extremely small and crowded with furniture. The only other outlet was the one in the closet - truly disappointed in this hotel.
