Well-located, quaint and authentic, but pricyPosted Jul 8, 2013
This was a nice place. Location was excellent, and room was nice (although odd - we had a two-story duplex with beds upstairs/loft). Shower had good pressure. Front desk person nice but a little clueless. If you're looking for an American-style full service hotel, this is not it. What it is is a nice, low-key European hotel that is well-situated. The price did strike me as high, but we were there in July.

Favorite hotel in the Odéon areaPosted Nov 5, 2011
Location: Entirely a matter of choice, but the 6th district is lively, fun and very central within walking distance to most major attractions. Lots of restaurants, cafés, galleries, clothes boutiques, etc.
This is my favorite small boutique hotel in this part of Paris (I've tried 4 others). It is clean, comfortable, the staff are very pleasant, and the breakfast room is on the ground floor with a seasonally used small inner courtyard. Rooms are small of course, as always in Paris, but well-appointed and decorated and very clean. Location is ideal and it's not on a busy street, so if you have a street-facing room, there is minimal street noise. Breakfast is delicious.

Friendly staffPosted Oct 17, 2011
I stayed here one night with my girlfriend of 10 years. We got engaged that night. 10 min walk to the river that night. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nice bathrooms. A little pricey but would recommend.

Wonderful find in ParisPosted May 29, 2011
This hotel was perfect for a short stay in Paris. The room was small (as expected), but very comfortable, and a short walk from the Odeon Metro station. The front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and attentive, and happy to help with plans for the day. Overall a great place to stay, and at a very reasonable price -- I would definitely stay here again!

Clean and adequate; great location!Posted Aug 24, 2007
This hotel was extremely clean and aesthetically appealing. The room, though small, was pretty and the linens and towels changed every day. The shower door was only one panel, which caused the entire bathroom (very small) to be soaked after a shower which was a bit of a mess. Some of the hotel staff were extremely helpful, and there were those who bordered on rude. The hotel restaurent offerings were very limited, and the staff very "unfriendly". I would suggest instead, a lovely bakery around the corner. All in all, adequate, clean and in a very good location. We had a lovely time in Paris!

very charmingPosted Aug 23, 2007
Been to Paris 3 times and this was by far the nicest hotel. Lot's of space ( for European hotels ), clean rooms, great location, quiet street. The only drawback was that our room was right by the elevator and each time someone got out our bedroom door would rattle loudly. Night gentleman was not very pleasant. All in all we would definitely go back.
