Kyriad Hotel at Disneyland ParisPosted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: free shuttle to and from the park, took 10mins and runs from 630am right until 1155pm everyday
Location: Disney park
Nice hotel but a bit tired on the deco. Can use some maintenance and a lick of paint here and there. However its clean and the maids did a good job daily tidying up. The main down fall for this hotel was the THIN WALLS. which made it noisy as you could here everything going on around you which was annoying when trying to sleep. Also there was alot of small parties placed randomly across the hotel? which personally did not like even thus Im a parent. I felt that the hotel could have split the guests up using the two buildings the hotel has. But as days went on I realized the teachers liked to sit down stairs in the main hotel lobby bar drinking into late hours while the students were left to own devices running up and down the lifts and floors creating a nuisance to other guests. The situation was not helped by hotel staff who came did their jobs and went-zero interaction with guest even when you approached them, very little conversation ac my advice is this, its worth paying a little extra a night and stay at another hotel near by called the Explorer. Or if you really dont care about the money then Disney New York Hotel is the best.

Long weekend in Disneyland ParisPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Rooms were clean and airy, bar area was good, well stocked with a half price happy hour (2 hrs) at 5.00pm, the bar staff helpful.
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities in the room. After 12 hours around the park who doesn't want a cuppa?
Location: The Designer Village at Val de Europe is about a mile away. The Hotel is close to all the Disney attractions (5 minutes by car or by bus)
Booked two rooms from Friday until Sunday. Rooms were okay, clean and airy. For British guests, they really have to invest in tea and coffee facilities in the room. There is a coffee/tea machine in reception, but what comes out of it is yuk. We had breakfast Saturday and Sunday, typical continental and acceptable. The Sunday however was a shock when we had to queue outside the restaurant for 30 minutes in sub zero temperatures whilst you could see empty tables. I appreciate that 8.45am might be peak time for breakfast but nonetheless not good.

You get what you pay forPosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Staff were friendly and helped us organise breakfast
Cons: Be upfront if you are doing building work and make sure it is safely closed off from guests. Provide some tea making facilities.
Location: Very close to Disneyland which is the main draw. however be careful with the shuttle buses (you need a 54) as this was very confusing and we got lost.
We got a great special offer on this room meaning that, for 4 of us, the price was about equivalent to a hostel. Therefore we can't really complain about the low quality. However as the room was cramped, the beds uncomfortable and our room was situated right by a corridor on which major building work appeared to be being done (and which, despite the 'no entry signs', was not blocked off in any way which could have meant an accident considering the number of children staying at the hotel) So we couldn't recommend it and we wouldn't go back.

Friendly hotel close to resortPosted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff close to resort free transport to Disney park
Location: We only went for euro disney and that's what we got, excellent.
Expedia made mistake by not adding breakfast to our booking, leaving us to sort ut upon our arrival. But apart from that everything went smoothly.

Communication could be betterPosted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Training for staff on their computer system as our breakfast mistake had been recorded on the system on the first day but didn't filter through each d
Location: Reasonably close to the park with good transport link.
Checked in early which was great as had a horrendous journey. Went to breakfast next day & told not included. Reception said they had not been told by Expedia but on production of the email changed this. Trouble was they didn't change it for every day and we kept having to speak to reception every day. Luckily it was the same staff most days so they recognised us and just sorted it out. Enjoyed the stay and would use hotel again.

Very cheap hotel and you can tellPosted Jan 2, 2014
Not enough things for the children to do as I have stayed in a few hotels which was more entertaining and had more entertainment. Kids got bored with nothing to do in the hotel. Very basic tv channels. No coffee machine in the room. People was banging up and down the stairs so found it hard to sleep. Bed was comfortable.

Pros: location and price
Cons: Front desk staff are overworked and overworked in multiple languages. Management should invest money in more staff at the front desk.
Location: It's all Disney.
Obviously, the reason to stay here is the Disney park shuttle and a fair price compared to the surrounding options. In the US, this would be a bit better than a Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are clean, the hallways functional, the walls are a bit thin if you have noisy neighbors. Breakfast is not included (at least not for us), but we did eat at the hotel restaurant one night. It was buffet with minimal staffing, but it was okay in terms of value. Your other dinner options are all the fast food restaurants near Disneyland and the train station, e.g., Planet Hollywood, etc. It has a Disney store on premises and the staff can arrange tours of Paris for you if that's on your agenda.
