Handy for metro. Clean and ComfortablePosted Oct 8, 2013
Cons: The room had tea making facility, which was good, but had paper cups. Not good if you want more than one cuppa in an evening!
Location: Hotel is a few mins walk from D'Italie Metro Station, which has excellent links everywhere (inc airports and tourist attractions).
Stayed here for 3 nights. No problems, staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good value for 9 euros, plenty of choice with bacon, scrambled egg, toast and other normal continental options. Room was small, but this is normal for Paris. The bed was very comfortable, and power shower was fab! Room and linen were clean. Overall it was a great place to crash after a busy day sight seeing.

Pretty small room and no ACPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was pretty small but the location was pretty good. It was pretty hot in Paris in late-July so it sucked not having AC.

Practical, Close to Good FoodPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel, while not in the center of town, is perfect for one or two people who just need a place to sleep at night while exploring Paris. It is a 2 min walk from a metro station (Place d'Italie) which will take you almost wherever you need to go (tourist-y places) in the city. The neighborhood itself has tons of little cafes with good prices and food.

Nice staff but badly in need of updatesPosted Jun 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, there were stains on the carpets in both the hallway and room. Also, there was what looked like mold in between the shower tiles and cracks/holes in the shower wall/surface. I chose not to shower in the morning as I wasn't sure if it had been cleaned or not. The hotel seemed like it should have a 2 star rating rather than 3.

Nice budget hotel for families or couplesPosted Jun 11, 2013
Pros: Central location
Cons: Needs some refurbishment
Location: Central, safe, quiet, great for cafes and restaurants nearby
Fantastic central location (few minutes walk from Place D'Italie and Les Gobelins metro stations), lots of nice restaurants and cafes close-by (DO try the restaurant Les Percherons opposite the hotel for great French food). Plenty of cafes and boulangeries/patisseries nearby so no need to sample the over-priced hotel breakfast. Supermarket at end of street for convenience shopping; hotel fairly quiet on side-street, comfortable and clean although in need of some refurbishment. Hotel is about 10 minutes from central Paris (Notre Dame) on metro, about 15 mins from Eiffel tower and Champs Elysee. Affordable, central, nice area, no complaints.

Good for Short StayPosted Jun 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed for 3 nights in room 65 on top floor. This room is literally right next to the lift, which we found very noisy and meant I didn’t sleep very well (light sleeper). Otherwise, the room was well sized for a city hotel. Bathroom was also a good size, and whilst clean, showed some signs of wear and tear (chips and rusty pipes around the toilet). The reception staff were very friendly and allowed us to check into our room even though we arrived before midday (planned to stay in two different locations during this visit to Paris). Buffet breakfast was offered for €9pp, but did not take this, so can’t comment. Hotel is around 5 minute walk to Place d’Italie metro station (there’s a great patisserie on the way to the metro that we stopped off at for breakfast), and the street the hotel is on is fairly quiet for a city location, and has a convenient supermarket at the top of the street. It is slightly far out from the main tourist areas of Paris, but the Metro is a great way for getting around, and we didn’t find this a particular problem during our stay. I would stay here again if I could be guaranteed not to be in a room next-door to the lift. Wifi is available in the hotel room, although due to our room being on the top floor, it did drop out occasionally. There was also a TV with one English channel (CNN).

Basic budget hitelPosted May 22, 2013
Cons: Having to ask for extra milk all the time .
Location: 10 mins from nearby metro into centre of Paris
Outdated hotel, very small room and even smaller "ensuite" dark passageways (needed to switch light on) lift tiny. Handy location to metro into city centre.

ReasonablePosted May 4, 2013
Cons: The breakfast juice dispenser has a big sign suggesting that the juice is Tropicana, but the juice is from concentrate. This really disappointed me.
Location: Palce d'Italie, next to the metro.
Small room and bathroom, but this is Paris and the price was overall reasonable.
