Great hotel, location and servicePosted Jul 27, 2015
I loved this hotel, the staff was really kind. The room was huge, very confortable. The only thing we didn't like was that the housekeeper did the cleaning very late every day. The location is perfect, you can walk to the Louvre (less than 10 min), there are plenty of stores around. If you walk behind the hotel you'll find many restaurants and cafeterias. You can also go walking to Orsay Museum and Notre Dame Cathedreal. There is a metro station nearby.

Nice hotel near the Louvre and Notre DamePosted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: Large room with comfortable king size bed and nice bathroom (two sinks and large shower). Contemporary decor. Good breakfast buffet included for us.
Cons: On two of our four days, we failed to receive clean washcloths - a small matter.
Location: This hotel is located very near the Louvre, Notre Dame and Musee d'Orsay. There are lots of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby.
We stayed in this hotel for four nights. Our room was ready soon after our morning arrival on the first day. We were pleasantly surprised at the large size of the room and bathroom. Very nice contemporary decor. Breakfast was included in our package - we enjoyed this buffet every day, especially the fresh orange juice and good pastries! The front desk staff was very helpful on all matters - large and small. This hotel is located on a small side street off of the Rue de Rivoli. We could walk to many of the main Paris sites and even into the Marais and Left Bank. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. We would definitely come back to this hotel, especially at the great price (by Paris standards) that we paid.

Good hotel close to louvrePosted Jul 22, 2015
Nice small modern hotel within walking distance to Louvre. Staff friendly. Rooms clean and large for Paris standards and bathrooms are good. Hotel not fancy but rates considerably higher than other four star hotels and even higher than some five star. limited to a good but same breakfast daily. Only one restaurant. Front desk helpful but limited to one or two staff at a time so check out could be slow at times. Take a card of the hotel with address otherwise cabs don't know where it is .. Excellent for families

Good location but average otherwisePosted Jul 9, 2015
Great location very close to Louvre, Les Halles and Pompidou Center and Notre Dame. Staff was friendly at first but seemed distant as the 4 night stay went on. Lobby is not comfortable at all. Fair experience - but better hotels can be found in Paris at the same price.

Best locationPosted May 13, 2015
Pros: Location, service, staff.
Cons: The tub is high for older folks.
Location: Fantastic see above, Eifle is 3 mi. and Arc about the same.
This is the best hotel to stay if you've never been to Paris. The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. They go out of their way to assist you. The location is great, close to major attractions, allowing you to walk to at least 3 major spots. There are many places to eat within a block, the Louvre is 1/2 a block, Notre Dame is a mile. Fantastic service by all concerned.

Great location and small hotelPosted May 12, 2015
Pros: Quiet, large rooms, great location close to all major attractions.
Cons: Staff was a bit short in responding
Location: Louvre can be seen from entrance, shopping on Rue Rivoli, restaurants of Rue Buci and Rue Dauphine are 10 mins walk away
L'Empire is centrally located within steps to The Louvre museum and within walking distance to St. Germain, Marais, Opera, Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysee. The hotel is small and quiet which is perfect for a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. The room we had was fitted with 2 twin beds, a large bathroom, mini-bar, closet and was a really good size. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The overall condition of the hotel is modern and new and room was very clean upon arrival. There is many restaurants, bars and shops within a few minutes walk from the hotel. Overall we had a great stay and look forward to returning soon.
