In Paris for a wedding, we just had a couple of days to explore so the location of L'Ouest was ideal, with a major train station just two minutes walk from the hotel. A supermarket, chemist, restaurants and cafés, and other shops are all steps from the hotel entrance. The bed was comfortable and, although the street is busy, the shutters, blinds and windows meant we had a good sleep. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was good value - providing a choice of cereal, cold meats, cheeses, pastries, bread, jams, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. Coffee/tea making facilities in the room were great when we got in late at night. Our only complaints would be that the shower is over the bath without a shower curtain - which means the floor of the bathroom gets soaked; and the wifi can be a bit hit and miss. Staff were friendly and helpful. We'd recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
