Excellent situation for exploring Paris.Posted Apr 12, 2014
Location: Near the Opera and large department stores. Within easy walking distance of most of tourist locations. Bike hire available nearby.
This hotel was excellent, There were some lovely touches -complimentary tea or coffee and cake available in the reception area as well as a tea/coffee maker in the bedroom. An honesty bar was also available in the same area. We also received a complimentary book of photos of Paris and another with the history of the hotel. The bedroom we had was lovely and spotlessly clean - with a great shower. The staff were lovely and so helpful. The hotel makes an excellent base for exploring the heart of Paris - very close to the Opera and the big stores - and within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions - the Sacre Coeur, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, etc.

Fabulous Hotel Close to Tourist SightsPosted Mar 30, 2014
From the beginning of our trip until the end, the staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming and kind. Our room was spacious and there was a great pool for the kids to play in at the end of each day. We were traveling with a 9 and 11 year old and they declared this the best hotel in which they have ever stayed (they have stayed at a number of 4 and 5 star hotels). If we return to Paris (which we plan to do some day), we would definitely stay here. At the end of the street (2min walk) is a metro stop. Also, it was about a 10 minute walk to the Louve.

A good hotel centrally situatedPosted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: The quality of service from the staff.
We revisited this hotel in Paris for a long weekend. It is situated near the Bourse in a quiet side street. There are very good restaurants in close proximity and many tourist attractions are within walking distance. The staff at the hotel are absolutely excellent and always strive to provide a first class service. We chose not to have breakfast in the hotel, preferring to use a cafe at the end of the street.

Nice location, beautiful hotel, attentive staffPosted Mar 17, 2014
I had the pleasure of staying two night in early March '14 and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I loved the decor with the feel of old Paris but with modern updates. The location was terrific close to everything I need to get. I had the breakfast one day and it was generous and delicious - I was full and had to skip lunch! I'd love to go back and highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of ParisPosted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: The staff at La Maison Favart thought of every little detail and more that guests would appreciate.
Cons: Honestly, the staff and the hotel outperformed our expectations. We could not think of anything to improve on.
Location: La Maison Favart was central to Paris and guests could enjoy the touring day on foot to many highlights of Paris. We walked everywhere.
La Maison Favart is a gorgeous and unique hotel located in the Opéra District. The magic began for us when were introduced to our beautiful, unique room (Room 37) that had all the comforts and refinements one could hope for. All rooms are unique and have their own name. Decorated like an art gallery/museum, our room was very clean, pretty, had a very up to date shower with excellent water pressure and a heated towel rack. Moving to the window, we opened two big swinging doors which opened up to a beautiful view of a courtyard framed by the famous Opéra Comqiue, an architectural wonder and as well as a venue for performances. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. We enjoyed outstanding espresso and gourmet teas in the lobby and our room at any time at no extra charge; as well there was always some kind of incredible torte available in the main floor dining area in the afternoon and evening at no extra charge: apple, pear, chocolate cream and cheese. We ended each Paris touring day with coffee/tea and torte by the fire, reliving the highlights of the day. Below the main floor, there was a beautiful modest pool and sauna, but the highlight for us was the water massage table, which my wife could not get enough of. We recommend La Maison Favart without hesitation and look forward to returning there on our next visit to Paris.

Very nice hotel close to many of the attractions.Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: Location, hotel staff and how beautiful it was.
First time in Paris and we had a blast! The hotel was in a centralized location close to the rail system and many of the main attractions. Its was quite and with it being small it felt like home. The location was very safe and the hotel staff was great! Room serve was completed the minute we left the room and was always left net and clean. On our next trip to Paris this hotel will defiantly be our place to stay if available.

Convenient,friendly boutique hotelPosted Feb 27, 2014
This small hotel gives a friendlly welcoming feel as soon as you walk in. The staff could not have been more helpful, ready to give advice, and help with queries. The room was on the small side without a view, but was tastefully furnished and well maintained. We hadn't pre booked breakfast but were told a choce of two were available, the express at 15 euro, and an other for 24 euro. We opted for the cheaper and had a real bargain, plenty of fruit, croisants, cereals, cakes etc. the sauna was small, and the pool is more to relax in than for swimming. The hotel is situated near the Paris Opera which is worth a visit, and within walking distance of the Louvre and many other notable sights, indeed we walked to the Sacre Cour, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomph from the Hotel.

Pros: It is lovely. The staff are excellent, the location is very central but quiet, and the decor is tasteful.
Location: Right next to the opera comique. You can walk to the Louvre, Musee Dorsay, and lots of restaurants. Visit Galerie Lafayette shopping centre!

Central to many attractions.Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff , very well appointed and well situated for many of the attractions within Paris
Cons: Struggling to think of a single thing.
Location: Metro station 2minutes walk away enabling all of Paris to be explored.
Our greeting on arrival, could not have been warmer. The hotel was spotlessly clean with free coffee and tea available in the room alongside an honesty bar which was well stocked. Staff were very attentive without smothering. On a personal note my French was very poor but this was not an issue as all the staff we had contact with had excellent English. We stayed 3 nights during which time the room was changed and cleaned daily and despite being in the centre of Paris there were no issues with noise. would go back tomorrow!
