“one of the best of paris locations”
If you are headed to Paris, especially for the first time, here's a good choice. The hotel is well located, not far from the metro. Easy walk with your roller suitcases from the metro from GDG airport. The staff speak good English and were expecting our arrival. Notre Dame is near your metro stop, buy a Batobus pass and enjoy a Seine trip if your room isn't quite ready(USA flights may get you in at Noontime). There are shops and bakeries and great places to eat all near this hotel. Sights to see galore.
The hotel is very small, an annex to the slightly bigger Belloy 15 feet across the street. The rooms are small as most Paris rooms are said to be. A decent breakfast is served at the Belloy. The staff there are equally as nice.
We found staying here allowed us to see it all. You go to the Metro and take a trip to Versailles. You use your Batobus pass and head for the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, The Champs, the Orsay,, trip out to Montmatre. All on a limited Budget if that is your case. Enjoy a sit down meal with the locals at the Polidor down from the hotel, scenes you may notice it Woody Allen s latest movie.
