Charming hotel with very helpful staff.Posted Jul 28, 2013
Pros: Charming décor, lovely location, & VERY HELPFUL STAFF!
Cons: corridors to bedrooms were a little dark (however rooms themselves not so)
Location: Right near metro station called Villers in a nice area of Paris- could see the beautiful sacre ceour from the end of the road! Lots of cafes etc close
Had a lovely 3 night stay at this hotel. Really charming place, great location & very helpful staff! Couldn't ask more much more.

Functional for a short stayPosted Jun 3, 2013
Advantages: - Location is the selling point: close to the metro with choice of two lines, in most places within 10-15 min - Covers all basic needs for a night or a weekend - Clean linens and towels - Bedroom windows open onto the street, great to get some fresh air - Breakfast is available but in a city like Paris we opted to find a local bakery (and there are at least 3 within a two block radius!) Areas for improvement: - Shower: water is clogged so you stand in a pool of your own filth - Light mold in some areas of the bathroom - No iron or ironing board - No glasses to drink tap water from the bathroom - Not recommended for long trips where you just want to be spoiled in Paris ;)

Nice hotel in a nice area of Paris.Posted Jun 22, 2012
Cons: Extremely dark
Location: Perfect location near to Villiers metro station and L'Opera district.
We chose this hotel because of its individual decor, unlike any chain hotel. But, our first impressions of the hotel were that it was very dark inside, and it is, even on a very bright sunny day, the corridors are very dull, and the reception area to some degree - coloured burgundy and bottle greens with very little lighting (internet photos a bit misleading). The room was decorated in a similar way but felt better. There are tea and coffee making facilities ( no milk is provided ), complimentary shower gels etc., hair dryer, Sat TV, safe, minibar, towels (changed every day), over bath shower. Ladies-take a make up mirror as bathroom mirrors/lights make it impossible to apply make up successfully. The hotel is situated in a nice part of Paris, close to L'Opera, with the metro just 3 or 4 mins walk away (Villiers), a lovely patisserie across the road and a small grocery store.

Relais MonceauPosted Jun 18, 2012
We had a very pleasant stay - the room we were allocated didn't have an attachment for the shower head so we asked for another room and we were moved rapidly into a nicer room with fixed shower head and bath. All in all the hotel was lovely, in a beautiful part of Paris and I would recommend it highly for value for money.

good location, fine room, so-so AC and wifiPosted Jun 6, 2012
The hotel was conveniently located near multiple metro stops. It was a perfectly fine 3 star hotel. The room was nicely appointed and the double sink in the bathroom made it easy to get ready. The wifi connectivity was limited to the lobby area, and was sporadic as well. My biggest issue was with the air conditioning, which seemed to have broken on the last day we were there, requiring that we keep the windows open all night.

January stay in ParisPosted Feb 12, 2012
Pros: cute hotel, ease of check in
Cons: price seems high for a 3 * hotel
Location: central, close to metro and convenient
Very pleasant boutique hotel, I stayed for two nights to work in an office nearby and will definitely return in the future. I like the rustic feel and the check in / out process was very fast and painless. I stayed during a very cold spell (-5 deg Celsius) but was warm and comfortable in the hotel.

Rooms need updating. They look kind of shabby except for the bathroom.Posted Oct 16, 2011
Hotel very clean and close to metro but it needs updating. It's kind of dark and shabby. Staff very efficient and friendly. Good deal for the money considering how very expensive a week in Paris is.

Hotel is close to subway; nice neighborhood; rooms are not big, but cost-effectiveness is good; appealing lounge and breakfast room; English-speaking staff
