“Great place”
Great staff. Spoke English and met every need. Great location near 3 metro stops.
“"Good choice to visit Paris"”
Typical 3* hotel. Clean and situated in a nice neighborhood, with 2 metro station near of it.
“Centrally located”
The front desk staff all spoke in Ebglish and were very helpful. Breakfast in the restaurnt was excellent.
“Good place to stay in Paris”
We made the hotel reservation based on Expedia review and it didn't disappoint us. 1) Great location. Many good restaurants within walking distance. 2 Metro stations about 100 yards away. 2 grocery stores and 1 bakery on the same street. 2) Good service. I have requested hotel to schedule shuttle service to pick up/drop off us at CDG airport. Staffs are fluent in English. 3) Room is small like other reviewers mentioned, probably is normal in Paris with the price you pay. 4) Hotel offers 2 for 1 breakfast buffet and free movies during our stay which is nice.
“Very nice.”
Very convenient to two metro lines and easy walk to Luxenburg, Notre Dame, Bon Marche, etc. Many good restaurants close by. The room was nicely decorated, clean, with a good size bathroom. The desk staff was helpful with dinner reservations and very pleasant. They have a nice bar/lounge area and a computer available in the lobby to use as well a reliable wi-fi service. Very much exceeded my expectations!
“Good hotel for Paris”
Very nice location, subway is right next to the hotel, good staff, size of the Classic room a little bit small, everything is clean in the rooms, but the hotel looks a little tiny, doors, halls, very small. Maybe that what Europe all about? I would recommend it to others!
“Will definitely go back”
My daughter and I stayed at the Lenox Montparnasse for 8 nights. This was our first trip to Paris and we were very pleased with the hotel and the location! I read plenty of reviews before choosing this hotel and I am grateful for all of the info. This hotel was surrounded by plenty of restaurants and caves, even a small pizza shop right down the street! You can pick up breakfast at a patisserie just a few doors down ( excellent quiche!). One night we picked up a few types of cheese and a loaf of bread and had that for a light dinner. You can find everything you need on the sa e block of the hotel - what a surprise, there is even a laundromat nearby. In addition, there are two lines of the metro very closely. We bought a metro pass and we were able to get to all major sights in the city within minutes-so convenient. We didn't want to leave this beautiful city and the comfort of the Lenox Montparnasse. The customer service was top-notch. We were there from July 14-July 22, 2011.
“Will be going back!”
The hotel is very well maintained and clean!!!. Not run down like many of the hotels that claim 3 stars. It is very well lit enabling business visitors to work very well in the rooms. Also, the sound insulation is great, cannot hear neighboring room noises. Definitely will be returning.
“Great location”
Very nice hotel in a convenient location with two diffeent metro lines within a couple of minutes short walk. From these lines you can connect to any line you need to see all the sites of paris - it is very easy to navigate the metro once you try it out a time or two using any map. We did not eat the breakfast buffet until the morning we left because people had said the 15 euros it cost per person was too expensive. It IS very expensive to eat in Paris, but we found we were paying that much or more to eat elsewhere, and the hotel buffet was all you can eat, so it really was not over priced compared to other places. If you only want a croissant or two, or some pastry item, then yes it is cheaper to go to one of the many patissieries in the area (two on the same street as the hotel, but others in all directions, but we spent about the same amount as the hotel breakfast for an omelet, coffee, and croissant in some of the local cafes, and you don't have the all you can eat/drink option there. The rooms are small, but as many others have said, that is the norm for Europe. The bathroom is quite large and we found the entire hotel room to more than meet our needs. Most of the staff is very friendly and they speak very good English. We always knew where we were headed for the day, but if you don't, I heard staff members giving directions to other folks. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I return to Paris.
“Wonderful Stay”
Really enjoyed this hotel and the Montparnasse area. Only criticism was the noise late night when we were staying in a room just off the street. Peaceful and quiet when we changed rooms. Kind, helpful staff. Convenient to 2 Metro stations. Also recommend the nearby restaurant La Coupole where Hemingway and Picasso dined. The Jardins de Luxembourg were also a quick walk from the hotel and absolutely gorgeous. We will return!
