Delightful hotel
We stayed overnight with our son and daughter as our daughter had a flight booked from CDG the next day. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our rooms were large and clean and good value for money. We ate in the Café des Artistes and the food was excellent. The restaurant leads out to a pretty terrace with drinking area overlooking the lakes. There is underground parking but also a public car park across the road. This is a great hotel, close to Versailles and Paris, but without the hustle and bustle.

Just lovely
A perfect respite from the urban pace of Paris. Walk for hours in the beautiful woods surrounding the hotel; eat in the outstanding, Michelin-starred restaurant; look out over the ponds that Corot painted.

Wonderful place and very romantic.
Lovely place. Great hospitality, beautiful big and very clean sauna and Spa. Loved all their variety of healing and relaxing tea choices. Love that it all was included. Hated the Cushions! Sorry the cushions need to be replaced.

Great location. Outside of Paris, about a 15-20 min walk to the metro heading towards Paris. They are a short 10 min drive from Versailles and they offer bikes if you’d like to use those instead.

Property was very charming, very helpful staff who assisted us with our bikes and parking on arrival. Rooms were of an excellent standard and very comfortable for our overnight stay. The only reason I mark the hotel down is that it did not offer any vegetarian meals on their menu; when I enquired if there were options available we were offered side dishes only, which given the standard of dining in the hotel, this was hugely disappointing, especially after travelling to get to the hotel (from Wales!) and after a day of exploring Versailles, we would have liked nothing better than to relax in the hotel with a meal and drinks, but this was not an option.

The hotel has a beautiful lake and forest for walking and biking(bike rental is included). If weather is good, you can bike to palace of Versailles. Hotel staff are super friendly and helpful!!

The hotel and gardens are nice and well maintained. The surrounding area is very beautiful with a lake and walking paths. Rooms are big & comfortable. The front staff was excellent. They were attentive, pleasant and quick to assist with our questions and needs. The restaurant and bar were very good with an excellwnt staff. Only drawback is a 1/2 mile to a grocery store.

Great hotel, nice spa, highly recommended.
Very nice hotel situated close to Versailles if you drive. Parking is free and you also get use of the spa which was nice. Room was very nice, clean, great bathroom and very large bed. If you are visiting Versailles palace and you want a spacious room and a nice spa to relax in afterwards I can highly recommend this hotel.

Overlooking a gorgeous lake. Welcoming and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms very comfortable. Meals in the Restaurant was great, with a good atmosphere. I would stay there again.

Relaxing, lovely property with great staff.
Amazing! Arrived late, and hungry, after the restaurant had closed, however, the front desk staff (name?) took the time to accommodate us with a snake. Front desk staff also helped in making recommendations for attractions...just wonderful. Location of property is a bit out of city center, but was a great transition after all-day hustle of the city. Don't miss a relaxing walk around the pond on the back side of the property.

Be Very Careful !!!
Hotel was ok but BE Careful. I was charged twice. Once by hotels.com for £620 the other £500 from hotel . There were also fees on top of this. Hotel admitted fault but a week later I’m still waiting for my refund. Also why did I pay £620 for a room worth £500?... that is NOT a saving but a substantial increase.

A very expensive upgrade
I was very disappointed about my room, on the street with a lot of traffic, and a very sad family room for a couple with a child. I asked the Manager to change my room because I reserved a regular room. His answer was strange, we are full and this is the type of room that we give to the client from Hotels.com! The Hotel was full but they offer to give me a suite for an extra of 150 Euros! I refused, then they found a smaller room with the view of the park for 50 Euros! I decide to accept because I was very tied but very strange way to host the clients of Hotels.com and new guest. As soon you arrive they ask you to reserve a table for the dinner and if you want to pay 20 euros for the breakfast! A cold coffee, not fresh orange, no eggs, nothing!

Don't Miss This Gem!
Les Etangs de Corot was Fabulous! About 25 minutes outside of the city in Versailles. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into town. Exactly what you would imagine a French countryside hotel to be. Our room overlooked a beautiful lake. The rooms were spacious and the amenities were wonderful. Great spa and amazing restaurants! We happened on this as we could not get a room in Paris the first night of our stay. I would have stayed here all 3 nights in retrospect. It is about $50 to Uber into Paris. Simply charming!!

We were greeted by a warm and friendly staff member. The hotel has a warm atmosphere with decor that reflects the wooded environment around it. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. They left special touches in our room such as a turn down service, robes, slippers, etc.

The reception staff were warm, quick, and professional. They helped me get a lunch reservation at the on site restaurant at the last minute and were extremely kind about it. The food was phenomenal. The soaking tubs were fantastic. I loved the decor. A very welcome retreat from the hubbub of the city.

Lovely hotel for a weekend getaway
We went to this hotel for a weekend getaway from the city and it was just what we needed. We walked around the lake just in front of the hotel, we went to the spa and spoiled ourselves with some a good massage, then have a great diner in the restaurant "Le Café des Artistes". Breakfast next day was also very good. Would highly recommend as a couple's weekend :-)

Great hotel
Loved the stay there. It rained most of the time, but the staff gave me a really nice umbrella to use when I walked around. My room had double doors that opened to the courtyard. Next to the drain on the roof, so I had a great sound of running/trickling water the whole time. Really great place.

Lovely hotel 10 minute drive from P of Versailles
Peaceful area of Versailles away from the city. Can't fault the hotel but couldn't recommend the restaurant. Le Cafe des Artistes was truly disappointing. The food was a poor attempt at being creative with flavours but they got it so wrong. I would not venture upstairs to their Gourmet restaurant having eaten here.

Great hotel just outside the tourist district in Sevres. Cheaper than the competitors but good facilities. stands on a lake too - very rare in Paris.

A lot of potential, poor management - Avoid!
Has the potential to be a great boutique hotel but the problems we experienced just should not happen at a 1* let alone an establishment claiming 4* status. 1). No coffee making facilities in the room. 2). Staff refused to provide us with a coffee unless we had a meal 3). Lost part of my laundry and still insisting that a missing T-Shirt is in fact missing underwear (I think I would know what I'm missing) - and rather than accept responsibility they point to the laundry service. Such an arrogant attitude. I stayed as part of a large group who all experienced a range of staff related problems. There are better hotels around without the attitude of this one. Avoid!

NOT a 4 star hotel!
I requested a good room as we were on our honey moon but we were given a room on the main road, had no food facilities apart from the normal dining timings. The staff were rude and we were refused an hour extension on our check out. The room was very basic and had NO kettle either. The breakfast was so expensive and had NO hot food apart from eggs and toasts.

Great , convenient location for central Paris.
The hotel has the right mix of character and modern facilities. Its conveniently located for central Paris while being located amongst very pretty countryside. The service was excellent, nothing was to much trouble. I cannot recomend this hotel highly enough!

Close to Versailles
This hotel is very nice - Jacuzzi, spa, great food and within very easy driving distance from Chateau Versailles. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.

Stayed here for a week with my wife. After compaining about the Air Con not working, we were told it's off for the moment due to it not being hot enough and we could wait till June - how does that work?? We got given a very old noisy fan which we wouldnt expect from a £200 a night hotel! Hotel location is close enough to Paris, a fairly long walk up the hill carrying suitcases wasn't fun, and the last bus back from the nearest metro station (not walkable) is at 9.10pm. If you miss it, its a 25 euro ride back to the hotel. Room service menu is not great and is very expensive - 22 euros a plate, and expect staff to enter your room without warning to collect their old noisy fan when another guest asks for one!

Most pleasant on outskirts of Paris
Paris was our destination, the hotel is in a reasonable location. If the weather is fair you have a 20 minutes walk from the hotel to the railway station, or a 5 minute taxi ride. Champs Élysées is two short train journeys away, the first SNCF for just 2 stops then on the Underground (RER) 3 stops. At only €8.60 return for the whole day with as much use of the underground you may wish for. All hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodated my school boy grasp of the French language , nothing was too much trouble. Has a very nice wine selection even if a bit on the pricey side the mini bar charges are a little steep, but then does not have to be made use of. We enjoyed our stay.

A very good stay with a few notable letdowns
This hotel abuts a little lake, making it a very relaxing choice in a paradisiac setting. The hotel staff is very good, they know their stuff and though it wasn't an issue for us they are very foreign languages-friendly. There are 2 restaurants associated with the hotel, we only went to the café for dinner once and it was very good and reasonable. There is a little garden where you can picnic or have the restaurants serve food for you. For the most part this was a fantastic experience. The letdowns: The rooms are uneven - some have showers and are smaller but pricier than others simply because they have a view of the trees in the garden. They are all comfortable but ask to see the room before you agree to stay there ("cramped" could honestly describe one of the premium rooms we got). We went there for our wedding and gave them the couple's outfits to press ahead of the big day. On the day of the wedding they only found the dress - the person who took both looked the groom straight in the eyes and told him he made a mistake and never gave her any suit. The suit was eventually found after 40 minutes, probably not pressed. While accidents happen, the experience amounted to being called a liar by a member of staff of a 4-star hotel who never apologized. Finally, at checkout time the staff expects customers to remember which days they ordered breakfast, and how many. Apparently they don't really keep track. This is a very nice hotel, but 4 stars? Not quite.

Hotel is more for a getaway/ escape, but not for tourists who want to explore around the city (i.e. nothing much to see). It's close to Versailles, but that's pretty much about it. The hotel itself is beautiful though - with the lake and trail at the back, and overall spa-like setting. I'd come again for a relaxing weekend stay - maybe to write a novel or two.
