Great hotel for Flights in or out of CDGPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: Hair dryers in room would be nice. Door locks were sticking bad, but we were the first guests in a facility still working the kinks out.
Location: Address is really 1 Rue de L' Eglise, Maregard . There is not much of anything nearby. Very rural village suburb.
Wonderful setting close to the airport. We wanted a peaceful experience before our flight home and this exceeded our expectations. Family owned and adjacent to the old family farm house. Brand new rooms in new addition 5 fairly recent original rooms. Garden access for a park like setting with beautiful landscaping. Staff from the front desk to the bartender were friendly and good ambassadors for France. They have added a restaurant so food is available and it was good.

The hotel that turned us awayPosted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: The green paint on the locked gates was very nice.
Location: Best thing to do nearby is look for another hotel
I booked this hotel hoping for a nice place the last night we were in France. This was certainly NOT it! Our reservation was confirmed, and we were told the hotel would collect our money when we arrived. We missed our train earlier in the day from Lyon to Paris, so we knew we would be arriving near the end of the check in time (6-10pm). We had an acquaintance phone the hotel around 7pm for us (speaking in French) to let them know of our delayed arrival time. She phoned 3 times but only got voice mail. We hired a cab to take us from CDG to the hotel, arriving at 9:50pm. The gates were locked! The cab driver phoned the hotel multiple times when we arrived again only getting voice mail. He honked and finally someone opened a door and stuck their head out. The cab driver announced that we had arrived for our reservation. Whoever had opened the door, then closed it and turned out the lights. We were incredulous! We'd had a long day of travel and this was not how we had hoped the day would end. We ended up at another hotel near the airport that had a really different feel, but it was very cool nonetheless, and less expensive.

A little out of the way but worth it.Posted Jun 24, 2014
Great place in a small, quaint, quite village. It is an old farmhouse that is being remodeled. They also printed out boarding passes for our next day flight. The owner took us to a basic but nice restaurant for dinner and picked us up afterwards. It is a 15e ride to CDG airport.

Bucolic alternative near CDG (Roissy)Posted May 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had been touring the Loire valley and needed a place to stay near the airport before an early morning flight. Les Herbes Folles turned out to be the perfect last night. Lovingly refurbished, the old buildings exuded charm and grace, set lovely green fields, so much more in line with our vacation than high rises nearer the airport. My husband went out for one last long camera shoot it was so attractive. There are no restaurants in town so a car would be helpful but as we had dropped ours off before we arrived, the owner graciously drove us to a restaurant in a nearby town and picked us up. Breakfast was ready as early as guests needed it for connections. Taxi to the airport was prompt and it took about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone needing a place coming or going from CDG.

Charming place, a little bit inconveientPosted May 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
This place is so charming and the hosts are wonderful. I am very happy we chose to stay here rather than one of the big hotels right at the airport. However, the other hotels near the airports have free shuttles that take you straight to them. You have to take a taxi to this one. Make sure to have cash because the cabs won't let you charge less than $25 Euros so you get ripped off! (The cab trip should be about $15 Euros). Also, it's a bit hard for the cab drivers to find the place and so ours cursed at us in French the entire way there which was unpleasant to say the least. So bottom line, STAY here because it's really cool but have cash for the cab driver and do not give them the address posted on this site because that is not actually the address It's actually 1 Rue de L'Iglese. Having the wrong address threw our cab driver for a loop and we had to listen to a life times worth of French cuss words!

Better than any other accommodation near CDGPosted Jul 2, 2012
Pros: Modern, comfortable and perfectly located with lovely extra touches that make you feel so at home and relaxed
Cons: Taxi drivers do not know where it is so print off a map before you travel otherwise you will have a larger than needed taxi fare
Location: just to the side of the flight path of CDG airport but surprisingly NOT noisy
For those about to fly out, this B&B is perfectly located near Charles de Gaulle airport and has the added bonus of feeling right out in the country. The host told us of a lovely nearby restaurant and lovely walks that set us up so well for the long flight ahead. We were so glad for the extra late checkout that was also provided at no cost. Rooms were all lovely and the breakfast was just excellent with fresh local produce.
