Small. friendly hotel

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: Great location, nice staff
Cons: The shower did leak a little on the floor as the door did not seal tight when closed, but there were enough towels provided to deal with this
Location: Great location near the Metro station - Porte Malliot. 40 min walk to Eiffel Tower. Nice cafés/restaurants in the area - 200m walk.
Arrived early evening, quick, friendly check-in. Room was small, but as expected. Bed, TV, small balcony with chair, en suite, wardrobe with robes and slippers provided, coffee machine, mini-bar fridge and safe. Air con was provided. Nicely decorated and clean. Large shower with dual heads, nice hot water. Check-out, quick and easy. We were able to store our suitcase until our departure from Paris later that day. We didn't use any of the other facilities. The staff were very friendly and spoke very good English.

Small, smart and friendly

Posted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: The hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable and friendly.
Cons: The hotel and rooms are small but we were only using it to clean up for a night out and sleep.
Location: Easy journey to the centre of town but plenty of good cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
The hotel is a small (33 rooms) "boutique" establishment tucked away in the 17th arrondissement an easy 10-15 min walk from the Arc de Triomphe. We had a junior suite which was sized more like an executive room and was well equipped with a smart bathroom. The location is not fancy but it is quiet and a ten minute walk to the nearest Metro and then 15minutes right into the heart of Paris. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Concierge found us two excellent local restaurants when our Trip Advisor picks both turned out to be full. We stayed for 3 nights and the hotel proved to be an oasis of calm to return to after a long day taking in the museums.

Boutique Home in Heart of Paris

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Our previous bookings in Paris had left us befuddled. The rooms were too small or the hotel used to be too ill maintained. This hotel is in the city centre, walking distance from Arc De Triomphe and Porte Maillot Metro and RER stations. There's also a direct train and Bus shuttle straight from Paris CDG to Porte Maillot. The hotel is small in size but big on attitude and service. Everyone is really helpful. Nicolas, François and the concierge too. There's an interesting concept called Honesty Bar where coffee is free but anything else you have to inform the hotel. Though the charges are a bit stiff(5 euros for a small bottle of water, where's the honesty thwre) But this is just an illustration to correct t a great refreshing concept. Great location lovely restaurants. Super market next door, metro next door, sights next door. What more could one ask for. The room is decent size. Ask for one with Balcony room no 21 or 31, the bathroom is enormous almost the size of some hotel rooms in Paris or London.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Loved the small quiet aspect of this hotel. The staff was helpful, the room clean, and the bathroom was fabulous! There was even a heated towel rack!
Cons: The breakfast was delicious but expensive. It could be included in the fare.
I stayed here for 6 nights with my daughter on a mother/daughter trip. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. It's around the corner from two large chain hotels on a quiet small street. There are plenty of great restaurants at every corner. Although the hotel is far from the city center, the metro is located across the street inside a shopping center. The area was safe and we enjoyed eating dinner around the hotel every night. The bathrooms are modern and well-done. There was a nespresso coffee maker in our room with real china cups and saucers. Travel maps and books were also located in our room.
