Lovely hotel in a quiet but central area of ParisPosted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Art Deco design elements. Lovely dining area.
Cons: Room very dark.
Great hotel, full of character. Gorgeous dining area in the central courtyard. Would thoroughly recommend!

A good central hotel with easy access to transportPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: The comfort of room with little extras like bathrobe, BBC 1 access.
Cons: It would be very helpful to have a mirror in the room.
Location: Easy access to metro, only a few yards from hotel. Walking to from the Marais and the Place du Vosges.
An enjoyable stay with helpful, professional staff.

Lovely hotel close to metroPosted May 30, 2014
Location: Metro very close or long walk to river where you can get batobus to all main attractions. 2 or 3 day pass for batobus is best value for money.
Smaller than we were expecting but beautifully furnished and designed, very clean and comfortable and even the sofa bed was a good, comfortable mattress. Reception was very helpful and kind. Would have liked the bar to have stayed open longer and the resteraunt opening times are restricted which is a pity as it has an absolutely fab inner courtyard with comfy seats where you can also eat, great for hot summer evenings. Breakfast pricey but lovely cafes on corner for breakfast that you can sit outside.Only lost a point on cleanliness as my friend spotted a bit of chewing gum on the carpet, otherwise spotless. Would definately return when in paris.

Great Hotel Location and perfect settingPosted May 25, 2014
Everything about this hotel I liked, you will not be disappointed. The courtyard area is fabulous for having a glass of wine and reading or planning your next day. My only advice is to not get a ground floor room near the elevator lobby as it is noisy and makes for interrupted sleep, otherwise it was great! I'd stay there again and recommend it to a friend.

Pleasant but slightly worn hotelPosted May 17, 2014
Pros: Nice to have a kitchenette, pictures on the bedroom walls were pretty, well located. Excellent cleaning and lobby team.
Cons: Update room decor; loose bath panel flooded the bathroom every time we had a shower; lower TVs to eye level; consider guests when planning corporates.
Location: The Marais district is a lovely place to stay for any tourist visiting Paris. Guests should take advantage by walking the beautiful local streets.
Lots of effort has been put into the branding of the lobby which provides an impressive welcome. However, the worn decor in the room did not live up to our expectations. The room was a decent size, with a small kitchenette, but it has been strangely planned, with an LCD TV too high up on the wall to watch unless standing! The reception is well-staffed but chaotic, though the lobby staff are friendly and attentive. The courtyard, over which the rooms look, is pretty but generates a lot of noise, particularly on one evening when there was a private party with loud DJ until 10pm!

Comfortable room, but not the best servicePosted May 12, 2014
Pros: nice courtyard (though could do with some more seating)
Cons: the surly service
We stayed for a weekend, with our baby son. While we had specified this in advance (and I called to confirm that they could provide a cot), we were put into a room that required going up a number of steps, which is difficult with a pram. And the room didn't have a cot, so we had to call for it to be installed. Also, there is a big step to the entrance lobby, and while we struggled to lift the pram and our luggage, none of the door staff offered to help. Still, the room was comfortable.

nice hotel but lacking in charmPosted Apr 28, 2014
staff is helpful room of good size but too big a place to qualify as "hotel de charme" expensive breakfast (with nothing particular about it) lack of -small- details (bathrobes, bathroom facilities) that truely would make it qualify for a luxury hotel
