Misleading information in the Hotel descriptio

Posted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The price was very high for this level service, location and hotel condition.
Location: Except one of the main train/metro stations, there was the museum of natural history and science + botanical gardens.
The hotel was pretty far away from the Latin Quarter and Notre Dame even though it was claimed that it is just a few minutes away from those points of interest. It may be a few minutes, if on the train (RER C). The room was very small even for Paris standards. Namely, we had no place to put our stuff, and had to keep 90% of it in our luggage (we did travel lightly). The room was very smelly, though visually clean and new. We could feel a lot of smell coming into our room from the restaurants below.

Pros: Near to train station.
Cons: Improve room design.
Location: Next to train station. Utility shop and few restaurants close by.
Booked two double rooms, one room was just OK and other was very small. The bath room in the smaller room was very small, very uncomfortable.

Excellent location for public transit and walking

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The facilities are clean, the room (small) was comfortable and quiet. The staff spoke mainly French, so you need to speak some French.
Cons: The sliding door between the bedroom and bath did not have stops, so you could easily crunch your fingers between the wall and door.
Location: The hotel is immediately across the street from the Austerlitz train station. The metro is at the front door and the bus stops around the corner.
We knew to expect a small,l but clean room and that's what we got. The bed was comfortable, and the room worked for us. People who have any disability or lots of luggage may want to stay elsewhere. There is an elevator, but we had to walk down a small flight of stairs from the elevator to the room with our baggage (minimal). Although the hotel is on a busy street, the room was quiet. We had only one minor incident. The first night in Paris we had dinner with friends at their suburban home. We got back to the hotel after midnight. The concierge was not at his desk, and only after reading the sign (in French) were we able to figure out we had to call a telephone number to get someone to open the door. Public transportation is in abundance, and the hotel is within walking distance of the Sorbonne, Notre Dame, the Cluny, the Seine, numerous cafes, drug stores, and everything we needed/wanted at a Monoprix (convenience store). The Louvre is a longer walk or short bus ride from the hotel, as were the major department stores. The neighborhood felt safe. While the receptionist offered us a discounted rate for breakfast if we prepaid for our entire stay, we elected to eat at local cafes and buy croissants from the local shop around the corner.

Very convenient for Gare De L'Austerlitz

We stayed one night . There are lovely botanic fardens just behind the hotel and plenty of budget places to eat nearby. The station is just across the road and the hotel breakfast ( book at the desk when you check in for a discount) is very good value!

Very efficient and tidy.

The room was very small, but efficient. Everything you need is there everything in good condition. We chose because it is directly across the street from d'Austerlitz train station. It is also just around the corner from Jardine du Plants and the Zoo.

Very Comfortable Room

Posted Jul 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel was directly across from a major train station and public transportation lines. Very comfortable bed and nice bath. Not much in surrounding area-- few restaurants and little to do, but didn't bother me much as I was sightseeing most of the day anyhow. Relatively large room for Europe.
