Superb locationPosted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: Location; helpful staff; proximity to restaurants and places of interest; comfort; quiet; cleanliness; child friendly
Cons: Choice of English speaking TV channels; kettle in room
Location: Tuilerie Gardens + Louvre 5 minutes walk away; Musee D'Orsay 10 minutes away; very near the river. Lots of restaurants around.
We wanted a hotel near to the heart of cultural Paris and we found the perfect one. 5 minutes walk from the Tuilerie Gardens (in which we strolled every evening), the Louvre and just across the river from the Musee D'Orsay. We were able to walk to some of the major tourist sites including the Eiffel Tower (a lovely hour's walk along the Seine) and the Place de la Concorde was just at the other end of the Tuileries. There were plenty of restaurants within easy distance including one right opposite the hotel which was very good and has live musical entertainment. A small supermarket at the end of the street was invaluable for popping out for daily necessities such as water and snacks. We were in a family room which was rather cramped but comfortable (the children slept on an opened out sofa bed) with a nice, decent sized bathroom. We could have done with a proper kettle rather than a coffee machine, but we managed to work out how to get hot water out of it on day two and brought our own supplies of tea and milk. The TV only had one English speaking channel - CNN - which was challenging with two children to entertain at bedtime, although they came away with an increased appreciation of the BBC at home. The staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfasts were good and you could help yourself to plenty. Being just off the main street it was quiet at night and we slept well. We were there for a city break for three nights and for that kind of trip it was perfect.

Cons: rien a signaler

Great location! Nice, clean hotel.Posted Oct 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great location! Nice, clean hotel. Good beds, bedclothes and shower/tub. We stayed in the family room, which had a comfortable extra bed for our kids (11+14 years).

Posted Sep 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
absolutely terrible hotel!! Not convenient n very tiny.
