Campanile Paris Sud Clamart is an excellent hotel for the value. The staff are multi-lingual and very helpful & pleasant. The room was simple, but clean, well appointed and quite comfortable. The only downside to this hotel is the location. It is not in a very nice part of Clamart. If you were staying with a group, it would be one thing. But I wouldn't recommend it if you are a single female who is planning on coming and going after dark. It's also a bit removed, so you have to take buses to get to the train or metro stations.

I thought the location was good, on bus line and metro train 15 min walk. The area wasn't the best but I never felt unsafe. I had a nice view of the Eiffel Tower from my room. My room was clean and very comfortable. Europeans need to invest in small refrigerator's in their hotel rooms, its nice to have one.
The breakfast was not worth 9 euros and not all the staff speaks English so you shouldn't advertise that. Regardless it was a nice stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Oh the free parking was nice it was one of the selling points I liked since I drove from Germany. I had a great time and was comfortable all 4 days. Thanks

This hotel is just outside Paris, but still inside the zone for the Metro, the last stop on line 10, about a five minute walk to the hotel. There are two very nice restaurants near the Metro stop, a crape restaurant, which stops serving around 22:00 and an Arts bar on the opposite corner with very good food that stops serving around 23:00. The breakfast in the hotel is a bit pricy, but worth the price, very good. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The street outside is quiet.

Hotel is a 10 min walk to the train station and a 5 min walk to the local supermarket. Good if you want to go to Disneyland as it is only a few stops, but a long train journey with several changes if you want to go to the center of Paris.
Room was clean, staff were nice. The only downside was the couple next door who had a loud argument one night and we could hear the whole thing as the walls aren't that thick. Also the pillows are really uncomfortable.
Overall it was a good hotel and I would stay there again.

This hotel is ultra-modern and new. The rooms were cleaned every day and very modern in interior design. The food on offer was excellent and the buffet entree and dessert were more than adequate for a meal but mains were offered as well. Le Restaurant, as part of the hotel was very handy for breakfast and dinners after a whole day out in Paris. The whole restaurant operation functioned like a well-oiled machine.
The staff all spoke English and were happy dealing with my meager French. They were all very friendly and only too willing to assist with any small matter.
While the hotel is located outside the city limits, there is a bus (#393 at Rhin et Danube) stop less than 100 metres from the hotel. It is a 5-10 minute ride to the Pointe du Lac Metro station and the #8 line can get you anywhere in the city. If staying more than a couple of days (I stayed 8) then you can get a Metro pass for 30 euros that gets you virtual unlimited transport in Paris - for a week! There are other options obtainable at the Pointe du Lac Info office and they are only too willing to help you out.
The Metro travel to the other side of Paris does take time and this is the only aspect that you would not have if you had a hotel right in the center of the city. But this hotel is very quiet at night, the air is fresh, and I left with a sigh of regret.
Many of the guests were French business men and women and they generally know the best places to stay.
