Does the jobPosted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: The room was clean and functional (for the most part).
This is a very basic hotel, fairly close to the Metro, albeit slightly difficult to find without Google Maps. I stayed three nights, and on the second and third of these, the air conditioning did not work. When I brought this to the attention of the gentleman at reception in the morning, he said that it was a problem that was being looked into and that maintenance had been called, but when I returned for my third night there was still no air conditioning. July in Paris is humid! So air conditioning was a basic expectation, and I was disappointed that it wasn't working and then hadn't fixed as a matter of urgency. When I refused to pay full price for my stay as a result of the air conditioning issue, the hotel agreed to take EUR 10 off my bill but did not offer any apology for the inconvenience. So, all in all, a very basic hotel, where the rooms are old but clean, and perhaps in need of a better air conditioning system. I would recommend this hotel to someone/couples on a budget that simply need a place to sleep and shower as a base for exploring Paris. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to families or those expecting any luxuries from their hotel.

good for one night or emergencyPosted Jul 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
overall this place was the one that had a room at a decent price in Paris during the summer. last minute totally worth the cost......for one night, when you don't find anything else.
