my stay was great, with some minor problems .Posted Feb 9, 2014
Pros: Location of the Quartier latin, and the staff.
Location: visit the Notre Dame...
Maintenance team should do a better job. Check all the details, such as Remote control battery, Coffee machine, and scale.... ( all were not working )

Excellent all roundPosted Jan 25, 2014
Pros: Location and staff
Location: Walk along the Seine, Musee D'Orsay, Pont des Arts, Latin quarter, Rue de Mouffetard. Everything is close by!
Stayed at Melia Colbert for two nights mid week. Staff were lovely and helpful from the beginning, particularly Lise. We even got a free room upgrade. They also gave us great restaurant recommendations close by. And the location couldn't have been more perfect. A stroll's distance from all the places we wanted to visit. Will be returning to this hotel for every trip to Paris!

Location: Close to a lot of restaurants and Notre Dame!!
The staff was nice when we arrived, but terrible when I left. They were charging for more. The room was clean, but too hot!! Food was good, not excellent!

Hotel Meilia ColbertPosted Dec 30, 2013
Pros: Everything. The room, the bathroom, the staff, the location.
Location: Great location near the Seine and Jardin du Luxembourg.
I used to stay at Hotel du Pantheon, but they drastically increased their prices. So I looked for another hotel in the same area. Melia Colbert met all my expectations and hopes. Loved the hotel and location and the staff was excellent. The hotel is in the Latin Quarter, Rive Gauche, close to the river and Jardin du Luxembourg. Around the corner from the steps in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris.

Pros: The location, staff and facilities
Location: Very close to Notre Dame, RER train station from the airport (direct train), Latin Quarter
We stayed at the Melia Colbert for our 30th wedding anniversary. It was a fantastic place to stay from start to finish. The staff were extremely helpful and professional and the hotel lovely. We couldn't have stayed at a better place!

Loved this hotelPosted Dec 16, 2013
Pros: Everything. Staff, hotel, room!!
Location: Within a short walk is the Latin Quarters, the B line RER (train), the metro, and Notre Dame.
Before I booked this hotel, I read many reviews about it... all very positive. And with good reason. I loved this hotel. It is very clean and the property is great condition. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was a problem. The room was very comfortable (I had the junior suite) and I enjoyed my time in there between bouts of site-seeing. It is very well place, being very close to the Latin Quarters, across the river from Notre Dame, and easy walk from the metro, and the B RER line, which is the line used to come into Paris by train. I have stayed in many hotels in Paris, and this is by far the best so far.

Perfection in the Heart of the CityPosted Dec 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
My mother and I stayed at this hotel during our recent Paris trip and loved it! Our room was clean and well kept, with a large bathroom and view of Norte Dame. We felt that it was a good size, and while small to American standards, was quite large compared to other European hotel rooms that I've stayed in. The hotel is close to major attractions and about a 15 minute walk to the Lovre. It was also close to the RER line from the airport which was very convienient. The hotel staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We didn't end up eating breakfast at the hotel but there is a wonderful patisserie a block away that we enjoyed very much. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Paris!

Perfect for a short stay in Paris, near Notre DamePosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location is the big thing. The room size was generous too and the staff were courteous and very helpful at all times.
Cons: The state of the room decor was just a little bit tired around the edges, so it could do with a little tidying up. But otherwise excellent.
Location: Fabulous location near Notre Dame, right by the river; RER station (blue and yellow lines) is just a 5-min walk away, along with many metro stations.
We wanted a hotel in a fairly central location, having previously stayed many times in the Marais and Latin Quarters. This one is perfect: Hotel Melia Cobert is about halfway between the two, right on the river by Notre Dame. It has an RER station on the blue line (for Charles de Gaulle airport) or on the yellow line for Versailles (for example). There are also several metro stops nearby; it's location is really tremendous. Marais is just a short walk over the river from here, so too are the many sights around the Louvre district or the Latin Quarter going away from the river Seine. A short RER ride takes you to the Eiffel Tower - the location of the hotel really is superb. There are many lovely local bistros and bars to eat and drink, along with the boutiques on Ile de Saint Louis, for a Sunday morning stroll.
