Perfect for a short stay in Paris, near Notre DamePosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location is the big thing. The room size was generous too and the staff were courteous and very helpful at all times.
Cons: The state of the room decor was just a little bit tired around the edges, so it could do with a little tidying up. But otherwise excellent.
Location: Fabulous location near Notre Dame, right by the river; RER station (blue and yellow lines) is just a 5-min walk away, along with many metro stations.
We wanted a hotel in a fairly central location, having previously stayed many times in the Marais and Latin Quarters. This one is perfect: Hotel Melia Cobert is about halfway between the two, right on the river by Notre Dame. It has an RER station on the blue line (for Charles de Gaulle airport) or on the yellow line for Versailles (for example). There are also several metro stops nearby; it's location is really tremendous. Marais is just a short walk over the river from here, so too are the many sights around the Louvre district or the Latin Quarter going away from the river Seine. A short RER ride takes you to the Eiffel Tower - the location of the hotel really is superb. There are many lovely local bistros and bars to eat and drink, along with the boutiques on Ile de Saint Louis, for a Sunday morning stroll.

Pros: Location. Staff. Room cleanliness.
Cons: Nothing really
Location: Walking distance to Louvre, Orsey, Notre Dame, several other sites. Great english bookstores and canadian pub very close by
Would definitely staty there again. Plan to actually. Excellent location, very reasonably priced and a nice room. Staff was exceptional. Concierge took the time to draw us a map so that we could get to the subway platform directly, without dragging our luggage a longer distance and down several flights of stairs. Highly recommend it.

great locationPosted Nov 12, 2013
Cons: the bed moved - one flimsy wheel lock did not suffice at all
Location: very close to notre dame and restaurants
this hotel is extremely central, close to the metro station at notre dame st michel and near to lots of restaurants. It is however, very expensive for a small room with a tiny bathroom. The staff are very nice and helpful. I would stay again but not at the rates that are charged.

Great location and cute but not really a 4 starPosted Oct 23, 2013
The hotel is on a very cute street perfectly situated across from Notre Dame in the Latin Quarter, but still quiet. The rooms however are quite small and not really 4 star quality. Given the price, I would expect a bit more, for example a stand up shower and higher quality bed and linens. The people are nice and the breakfast room is pleasant so no complaints but overpriced for what it is. Have stayed in 3 stars in same general area that were just as nice.

Excellent Hotel in a great locationPosted Oct 19, 2013
Location: Great Location by the River Seine and Notre Dam Cathederal within walking distance of the Lovre. Restaurants, Cafe's and the Metro are all close-by
This Boutique hotel, in a quiet street, 5 minutes from the River Seine is in a great location, the staff are freindly, welcoming and very helpful we have already recommended this hotel to friends and relatives. A great choice for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary and the nicest hotel experience we have ever had in 30 years of travel and living overseas.

Lovely hotelPosted Sep 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed overnight in this lovely hotel. It's 2-3 short blocks from the Seine on the left bank. It is really close to everything - Notre Dame is a short walk away. However, the street was very quiet with no street noise. Service was excellent. Front desk staff very helpful. Room was spotless.

Nice Hotel in the Latin QuarterPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The location and the room-size.
Cons: The bar should be staffed with a real barman during cocktail hours.
Everything about Melia Colbert was fine. The outside of the hotel is quite lovely. The location is outstanding a block from the Seine and across from Notre Dame. Which has its good points and bad -- it is an extremely touristy area; but close to the Metro as well as many cafes and restaurants. The hotel is Spanish owned and everyone who works there is spanish and spanish speaking. The staff all speak english and french, as well and are all very helpful. We stayed in a Premium room -- the Standard room we had booked was not ready and Beatrice who greeted us on our arrival -- pitched us a deal to take a Premium room that was available. It cost an extra $210, the room was a very nice size for a Paris hotel room. But we had no way of knowing if it was worth the extra money -- having not seen the Standard size. There is a bar located in the hotel -- but it is not really staffed -- recommend going outside the hotel for cocktails. All in all the Melia Colbert is a good place to stay in Paris.
