my stay was great, with some minor problems .

Pros: Location of the Quartier latin, and the staff.
Cons: Maintenance
Location: visit the Notre Dame...
Maintenance team should do a better job. Check all the details, such as Remote control battery, Coffee machine, and scale.... ( all were not working )

Excellent all round

Posted Jan 25, 2014
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Nothing
Location: Walk along the Seine, Musee D'Orsay, Pont des Arts, Latin quarter, Rue de Mouffetard. Everything is close by!
Stayed at Melia Colbert for two nights mid week. Staff were lovely and helpful from the beginning, particularly Lise. We even got a free room upgrade. They also gave us great restaurant recommendations close by. And the location couldn't have been more perfect. A stroll's distance from all the places we wanted to visit. Will be returning to this hotel for every trip to Paris!

The hotel was perfectly located in a quiet street that's incredibly close to Notre Dame, St Germain and many other Paris hotspots. The staff are wonderful, helpful and the rooms are very clean.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Staff
Location: Close to a lot of restaurants and Notre Dame!!
The staff was nice when we arrived, but terrible when I left. They were charging for more. The room was clean, but too hot!! Food was good, not excellent!

Great location

Hotel itself is very good but aspects of the service are quite poor. My wife and I arrived with 2 cases each but were offered no help getting from the taxi into the hotel. on our first evening we had to wait in the bar for service and then the coffee was cold, the barman had never heard if Tia Maria and still tried to charge for the cold coffee. Minor points, true, but not expected at a 4/star hotel!

Hotel Meilia Colbert

Posted Dec 30, 2013
Pros: Everything. The room, the bathroom, the staff, the location.
Location: Great location near the Seine and Jardin du Luxembourg.
I used to stay at Hotel du Pantheon, but they drastically increased their prices. So I looked for another hotel in the same area. Melia Colbert met all my expectations and hopes. Loved the hotel and location and the staff was excellent. The hotel is in the Latin Quarter, Rive Gauche, close to the river and Jardin du Luxembourg. Around the corner from the steps in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris.
