Good Hotel in good location.

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: The Hotel in a great location and staff all very friendly, would stay again if we every came back to visit.
Cons: Nothing to improve.
Location: Hotel in a quite location but enough around to see and do. Walk into Bastille and enjoy the night life.
Great Hotel in a good location, staff very helpful nothing to much trouble. Any request made before all met by hotel.Metro very close by in walking distance, lots to do in area around hotel places to eat and drink. Not all attractions in walking distance advice using metro or open top bus, also water taxi to get around the city. Enjoyed our stay would come back to explore the city more and stay in the same hotel again.

I loved the hotel, everything is good about it and most important was the personnel there, very helpful. Cose to city center and to bus and metro stations, and surrounded by several bakeries, cafes and boulngeries. Its wonderful!

Easy to access restaurants. Choice of metro lines very near by. Bathroom a bit tired and in need of refurb. Balcony small but gives a 'feel' of openness. B'fast fast was not bad for FVM if pushed for time. otherwise plenty of deals around. took the canal tour and the green walk. Both well worth it. takes you away from the tourist traps.

Serious Flaws

Posted Jun 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
In a 'priviledge' room your expect the aircon to work. Especially in a small room where the only cooling option otherwise is to open on to a very noisy street. Deliveries and garbage collection, parties and passers by only 10ft below our window. So, as sweat or noise were our only options, sleep was intermittent. According to the hotel, they can only have heating without aircon or aircon without heating - so they had selected the heating option for the whole hotel as it had been cold recently. Didn't work for me. Breakfast was expensive and the hot option inedible - tasty bread and croissants and good coffee but very poor value. Room was clean and well furnished, location, near Gare du Lyon not really close to anywhere you want to be but OK.

Pros: Very friendly staff and a great room cleaning service.
Cons: Mainly what I named before about IceMachine and parking.
Location: Very good location.
The one real problem is ice for guest to use for cold drinks in there room.I did not have a car , but I noticed a huge fee for parking. I think it was 17 euro per day. For a guest it should be free. That amount is about $25. U.S. Dollars per day.

Nice hotel for 1 or 2 night stay

Posted May 26, 2014
The location is convenient to many good restaurants, shopping and to the metro. The staff was excellent - offered suggestions about easiest metro routes and places to eat. Our room was small even for European standards, the bathroom walls needed some repairs, the light over the bed didn't work (but we kept forgetting to let them know), we never did figure out the air conditioning and occasionally it was very noisy in the alley. We loved the roof-top patio. It would be a good choice for a short stay but not for the 7 nights we were there.

Great base for a few days in Paris

Brilliant small hotel, 5 minutes from the Ledru Rollin metro station, and less than 10 minutes to the Bastille. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast would recommend the luxury rooms.

Nice hotel near a metro stop.

Posted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, and comfortable bed!
Location: Lots of restaurants, caf├ęs, and great shops within walking distance. Very close to a metro station.
We spent three nights here and were very happy with the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the room, and the location of the hotel. The wifi in our room was great, which is not always the case in some hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
