Good hotel at a nice locationPosted Oct 14, 2013
My wife and I really liked this hotel. Everything was great. The location was convenient with access to public transportation and restaurants. The Eiffel Tower was about 40 min walking distance from the hotel.

Stunning renovations!Posted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, great location, lovely modern refurbishments.
Cons: Shower design - easy to flood the bathroom!
Location: Great location - 25 minute stroll from the Eiffel Tower area, 2 minute walk to metro, plenty of bars and restaurants within minutes walk.
This hotel was a great find! About a 20 minute metro journey from Gare du Nord on one line only. The hotel itself is a couple of minutes walk from the Vavin Metro station and Raspail station. Yo can walk to the Eiffel Tower area in a nice 25 minute stroll. Plenty of lovely restaurants and bars in the local area - if recommend the fondue restaurant right next door! The hotel itself has had very recent and stunning modern renovations, the room and bathroom are big for Paris! Only slight issue was the design of the shower - very easy to flood the bathroom! Hotel staff were very friendly and a great choice of wine in the hotel bar. Free unlimited wifi too. Would definitely recommend!

Great hotelPosted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: The location and the rooms are very cozy!
Cons: The bar area! Not that is necessary but is attended by the receptionist/bartender/multitasker... I dont mind though.
Location: Great restaurants, Pattiseries and wine shops nearby. Love that!
This hotel has an amazing location, great neighborhood and close to amzing restaurants. The most important thing is that is not a tourist area is really a parisian area. The rooms are small but hey is Paris! Very modern and super confortable!!

Great hotel, friendly staff and amazing locationPosted Sep 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great location next to tons of restaurants and a metro station. Friendly staff who go out of their way to help you. Clean and comfortable rooms. The only negative I can think of is the scarcity of irons for business travellers who need their shirts and suits touched up before heading out in the morning.

Great location.Posted Jun 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is situated perfectly for a stay in Paris. If you don't mind walking its perfectly located to many of the sites of Paris, and even if you do the Metro is just across the road and will take you wherever you want to go.

Well located hotel in nice, quiet areaPosted Jun 16, 2013
Pros: Value for money/location
Cons: Lack of air con and very small shower
Location: Well located in nice area within 30 min walk of major sites
Air conditioning controlled by staff and kept being turned off. Air conditioning was uneffective even when left on. This would have been very uncomfortable in hot weather -hotel wa advertised as having a.c. Rooms spotlessly clean, recently modernised, staff very helpful. Only downside to small room was the tiny shower

Perfect for a short stayPosted Jun 9, 2013
This is Paris so the room was small. Everything spotlessly clean and up to Mercure standards. Free WiFi and in-room coffee kit were a bonus. I didn't eat in because the area is full of good restaurants.

Great for short breaks ... Location fab!Posted May 28, 2013
Pros: Location, cleanliness
Cons: Air con - there was none....
Stayed for a city break with my partner and my parents. Great location, walkable to many of the main attractions, and an easy train ride should you not be a walker (do beware of how many steps the underground has if your party has any older people!) The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room itself is small but just refurbished, so very clean and on-trend. Not much storage space, so wouldn't recommend for a long stay. Shower was great, ours was quite spacious, however my parents was rather small, so if you are bigger in stature you may wish to request a larger cubicle. The only let down was that the air con has not been fitted yet, and the hotel is warm. Had to have the window open to be able to sleep. I would use this hotel again for a short break, it was convenient, clean and when they have the air con sorted out would be great for short weekend or business trips.
