Small rooms in a good spotPosted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: Great location,
Cons: They've got everything right, I think.
Location: Le Rey, a café around the corner, serves a very generous kir. The bakery next to it, Rodolphe Landemaine (as mentioned above) is magnificent.
Hotel rooms in Paris are typically small, and four stars seldom buy much extra space. There was enough space in our room at the Mercure for a comfortable stay, but not a lot extra. The hotel is almost on top of a metro station and there are fantastic shops and restaurants just steps away. One buttery croissant from Rodolphe Landemaine's bakery around the corner may linger on your hips for few years, but it is worth it. Join the queue. They run this hotel marvellously. As it happened, we didn't have much interaction with hotel staff, and that is praiseworthy in itself. We have no hesitation in recommending this well-maintained hotel to anyone with small-to-medium sized suitcases.

A great findPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Great hotel. Large room with a beautiful large bathroom. All very well appointed and well decorated. Very good value for money.
Cons: No criticism.
Location: Close to Bastille. A short ride into central Paris.
Central position with metro outside and buses very close by.

Great spot for a weekend in Paris.Posted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Clean rooms. Reasonably priced and conveniently located.
Cons: A little noisy...
Location: Near Père Lachaise Cemetery, Bastille. Several good restaurants close as well as grocery stores, markets, etc.
Nice little hotel, not too far from the super-touristy parts of Paris but close enough to get there in about a 15 min. walk. Very near Père Lachaise Cemetery and literally across the street from the metro. Staff was well-informed and very kind (they spoke excellent English as well). Room was a little small, but very clean and cozy. The walls were a little thin for my taste, I could hear people upstairs muttering and there was a party one evening in a nearby room that got a little loud. I was able to charge my phone using the USB port in the tv, nice since I forgot to pack my power adaptor! A great little spot with some rustic charm and modern convenience.

Paris for onePosted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Decent location to Metro
Cons: nothing really, the size of the room was quite small but the décor was good and the room had everything I need.
Decent Hotel in what turned out to be a good position, I was able to walk (tired at the end of it) to the main attractions no bother but it was ideally located for the Metro as well, so no issues.

Fantastic servicePosted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff at the hotel accidentally gave us a room with double bed instead of as per our online request for twin beds. If no other room had been available, the room on the 3rd floor with the double bed would have been ok, but the staff were very considerate and gave us a much bigger room with a better view which was available on the 5th floor. This upgrade was the perfect start of our visit and we could not have expected more during our 2 night stay at the hotel. Definitely will recommend this to friends and family!

It was very warm and we got in late. The air conditioner did not rapidly cool the room to a comfortable temperature. Everything else was great. The staff was very helpful.
