Lovely hotel next to metro.Posted Sep 5, 2014
Large twin room on 6th floor (602). No charge for safe and full use of fridge. Tea/coffee in room. Reception staff excellent and helpful. Breakfast was adequate but expensive if paying extra. Get a bed and breakfast rate for good value. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice little hotel, good location.Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Nice staff, perfect bed, nice working bathroom.
Cons: Nothing about hotel, but Paris metro is a lot of transfer and lots of stairs so be prepared :)
Location: Everything is near, good groceries, good self cleaners, good pasteries, good cafes, and metro is in front of hotel.
If u search good bed, good elevator, good breakfast, nice staff. This hotel is what your searching, add a good location and it's perfect for a medium price.

Very nice hotel close to the metro, cafes.Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: the cleanliness and the staff, also the security.
Cons: nothing that I can think of.
Location: next to the metro. as for things to do near by NOT MUCH. homeless people sleeping in phone boots across from the hotel. far from the touristic area.
The staff is very friendly & helpful the rooms are very clean with modern washrooms, we had 3 rooms for our family and we intend to come back.

Mercure Voltaire Quartier BastillePosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable beds, great breakfast area in the lounge and free Wi-Fi! The staff were especially courteous, helpful and very professional.
Location: Be careful if you go to the corner McDonalds late at night. A lot of odd, shady. homeless characters seem to gather there at night.
The hotel itself and the staff were excellent! Top notch hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the area is not the best. There are a lot of homeless people around the hotel, some of them mentally unstable. There were whole families living on mattresses, set up in the phone booth in front of the hotel or around the corner and begging for money as you walk by.

Lovely hotel, well situatedPosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: In the superior rooms the mini fridge is complementary.
Cons: The mini fridge in the room was not refilled regularly as billed and neither was the tea/coffee. Better quality tea is a must in rooms!
Location: Extremely close to metro so travel is easy but walking into town only takes about 15mins to Notre Dame.
Good hotel facilities and friendly and helpful staff. Paid a little extra for a superior room which had a view overlooking the city.

Excellent hotel, great locationPosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Room facilities, cleanliness, location
Cons: Thicker towels - but I'm being really picky by saying that.
Location: Plenty of places to eat if you head towards Bastille, and right by the metro line 9
Slightly smaller than I was expecting but still perfectly adequate for two, the room was always spotless. Excellent location next to Voltaire metro and loads of great cafés and bistros nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel, excellent locationPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: 1. Location: Can't beat it. Close to Bastille, next to the Metro Voltaire 2. Comfort: Compact room with all amenities 3. Friendly and polite staff
Cons: 1. TV channels should include more english ones 2. Mini-bar
Situated right next to the Metro Voltaire (M9 - which will take you to the Eiffel Tower, Galeries Lafayette etc as well as 15 mins from Gare Du Nord), this hotel is tucked in a very good neighbourhood with all amenities at a stone's throw - Good restaurants, Convenience Stores and a safe location. Room is compact with great ambience and is very well maintained to an excellent condition. Staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. No outside noise et al giving you a well deserved rest after a day's tour around Paris. I will definitely come back to stay here at the price we were offered and happy to recommend this to anyone.

Nice to be next to the metro!! :)Posted Jul 11, 2014
Excellent place, right next to the hotel. 15 minutes by metro from Eiffel Tower. Plenty of ressources around: café, pastry shop, grocery store.
