“A great plain and simple choice”

This is a little gem of a hotel if you like things plain and simple. I had a cosy single room in the atttic with a little balcony overlooking the rue des Abbesses. I didn't mind the lack of lift and very twirly staircase because the room was very quiet with a lovely view. The free breakfast was basic but good and I really appreciated the free lunchbox as well. The wifi worked well in the lobby but not so well up in the attic. The staff were really friendly and helpful and I had a very comfortable stay. This is a no frills hotel for people who like simplicity and functionality (and excellent showers). Great location in a street with shops, cafes and bars.

“Cheap and comfortable”

Hello - I have seen some reviews about this hotel talking about how small it is and sometimes smelly. I can tell you that you get what you pay for and more, the service is very good, recepcionists are always in a good mood and basically, while in Paris, all you need a hotel for is to go to sleep at night and shower. I think that some people expect an american type hotel with big spaces and big bathrooms, but in Europe the standards are very different. I do admit that people somewhat overweight might have trouble taking a shower and going up to the room since there is no elevator, but in general, I definetely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very small indeed, we had the biggest room and it was tiny. I would not recommend it to anyone over 100kg as you will not be able to fit through the shower door. I wouldn't also not reccomend it for a romantic weekend away as it is very simple and could do with a refurbishmet. Other then that - it was excellent - great value for money, clean and tidy, in a great location. Two metro stations within 3 minute walk, on a fantastic lively, very atmospheric street with plenty of cafes, some of which were open until 3am.

Very basic hotel but great location. Rooms are clean and service is friendly. Hotel is reputable. This hotel has no elevator, so make sure to mention special needs. Breakfast is complementary and acceptable, though space may be an issue.

“Simple, Friendly, Convenient”

A budget hotel with a very friendly and attentive staff. Location is great, right on a bustling street in Montmartre with numerous stylish cafes all around. Close to the metro. But there's no elevator, so take that into consideration before taking a room on the top floor. Though the views are great from up there.
