Great hotel, with lovely welcoming staff.

Posted Nov 24, 2014
From the moment myself and my two friends arrived, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable by the staff. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and we had no issues with noise from the nearby building works.

Great position in Old Paris

Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: The hotel, is quiet, and very pleasant.
Cons: Breakfast is rather expensive but we walked out to a nearby Café for coffee and croissants!
Location: Location for Old Paris is amongst the best.
It is difficult to fault the position of this hotel in the Les Halles area of Paris which is undergoing major redevelopment. It is a short walk from the train station with restaurants-a-plenty all around.

Great Location - Wonderful Room

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Situated right next to the biggest Metro station in Paris - from there, you can go almost anywhere. Also walking distance form Notre Dame, The Latin Quarter, The Pampidou Museum, the marvelous restaurants of the Marais District and the Louvre Museum. The room was super-comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Les Halles in Central Paris

Posted Nov 16, 2014
Pros: Access to the major attractions of Paris
Cons: Rooms need to be renovated with new carpeting high on the list.
Location: Walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame and the hop-on & off buses.
Construction next door compromised any thought of rest during the day. The room was well equipped, somewhat stained yet clean. The hotel staff was very helpful with limited capacity for English. Overall a good experience.

Nice hotel in the middle of a construction zone...

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Location, modern look, staff.
Cons: At this price point, rooms should not be looking shabby. If something is broken, they should be fixing these things immediately.
Location: Chatelet is an awesome spot-- walk to many major sites (Notre Dame, the Louvre, etc.) or just hang out at the Fountaine des Innocentes (sp? sorry).
This is my third stay at this hotel-- it is in a great, central location…but there has been construction going on all around it (literally…it is an island in the midst of a construction zone…) for at least 2 1/2 years and I do not see a quick end in sight. If you stay here, you just have to be prepared for this. I got a good deal on expedia of this hotel-- however, there were plant of little things that caught my eye that could have been improved (cracked light cover in my bathroom, no clock in the room…). Also, I was initially placed in a large, beautiful room…only to be called 10 minutes later to be told that there had been a mistake-- and I was moved to a room half the size a mile away in the area of the hotel farthest from the elevators/lobby… still ok, but a bit disappointing. Overall, a nice place to stay in Chatelet. Maybe not the BEST value at this time, but totally acceptable and in t great, central location.

Central location easy metro access

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Staff were very helpful. Pleasant lounge on an evening.
Location: Ideal location for all attractions and metro. Nice local restaurants better value than hotel food. Hotel City Breakfast good value.
Very enjoyable trip to Paris, hotel and Les Halles area undergoing some reconstruction at present but this did not spoil the trip.
