Very close to CDG Airport

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Very close to the airport and sweet staff
Cons: Their free shuttle does not stop at Terminal 1, so if you're flying United, you have to take a tram to 1...this was a bit too much for us to shlep.
Location: A lovely park across the street and the little village of Roissy was right there in case you had not had your fill of quaint French towns.
A very nice hotel, quiet and next to a lovely park and quaint little village of Roissy. It ticked all of our boxes, but were not happy about having to pay for wifi/internet! Even our B&Bs had free internet!

Tired, poor value for money

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Staff were helpful
Cons: Decor, amenities
I chose the Marriott for 2 reasons. Firstly, the brand and secondly they advertise an airport shuttle service. The hotel was definitely not up to usual Marriott standard. Rooms were old, internet chargeable at high rates, no minbar, slippers etc and poor room service food. The airport shuttle only services Terminal 2. Frankly, I would select one of the budget hotels at half the price which are newer and still have shuttles to the same place. Really not a good experience and makes me reconsider using the brand in the future.

Utilitarian hotel near Ch. De Gaulle airport.

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the airport - but their free van service only left the hotel once an hour. We didn't even try to have the van pick us up at the airport.
Cons: Better dinners.
The room was comfortable, a reasonable size, and very quiet. The carpet and paint could have used some freshening up. We had dinner in their dining room. It was awful - the food was beyond not fresh, some even spoiled. And, it cost about 100 euros. Breakfast was better, but we only had things like dry cereal and carefully selected fresh fruit. They had skim milk for the cereal, which is a plus.

Disapointing

Posted Jun 24, 2014
While the hotel itself is fine and located in an ideal area, we were really put off by the 20 Euro a day charge for internet access in our room. We felt that this charge is outrageous when WiFi is almost ubiquitous. I will not stay again for this reason.

A Matter of Understanding

Pros: I returned eight miniatures to the front desk during check-out. I liked our room service dinner. My request for the costs of the free breakfasts to
Cons: be credited to the bill. the request was refused. You can be the judge of how many problems that my experience reflects. When were stayed in Paris at
Location: Luxembourg Park in a junior suite for four days, the service was flawless -- as one might expect for hotel which charges four to five times more....
I requested an upgrade to a suite. I was informed that that was not possible; in fact, my Expedia reservation would cost approximately double the quoted rate. I calmly asked to see her supervisor, who gave me the upgrade for a small amount above the quoted rate for a room, free mini bar, and free breakfasts. We arrived at the room, which was warm since it was facing the west. The small refrigerator was not working. I requested ice and chilled contents. A lady came up, replaced two beers, previously consumed by someone -- not me. The refrigerator was replaced. I requested four miniature bottles of scotch and four bottled of vodka. The man in charge of mini-bars came to inform me that miniature bottled were not allowed in this room, just as twelve miniatures were delivered. Someone thoughtfully had added four bottles of my favorite gin. At that point I asked for more ice and four bottles of tonic water. Three bottles were promptly delivered. Management was obviously trying very hard. While I appreciated that, the overall result was a comic end to a great French vacation.

hotel bed

Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: location to C.D. Airport
Cons: with the exception of the bed, everything was great.
Location: airport
The hotel bed was tilted downwards so that it didn't feel very good so we changed our position so that our heads were where our feet should have been.

Convenient shuttle, excellent restaurant

Posted Feb 16, 2014
After the hotels of Paris itself, a decent airport Marriott feels like the height of luxury. I found the staff professional and helpful, the fitness center very serviceable, and the room spacious, comfortable and quiet. The addition of a coffeepot to the room would not go unappreciated.

Nice Hotel in general.

Posted Jan 26, 2014
Pros: Good restaurant, good food menu and choices.
Cons: The hotel shuttle serves only CDG Airport Terminal 2 while all other shuttles stops also at Roussypole near all terminals. It should be the same.
Location: Convenient location amongst all other CDG hotels.
This Hotel would be excellent if their Policy on Internet Access was not terribly unfair. I paid 11.50 Euros twice with my credit card, on their Business Center Computers, but could not navigate. I feel that it was not fair. However, the staff was very helpful and I guess that they know that something is wrong with thei Internet provider.
