Wouldn't recommendPosted Dec 3, 2013
The location was good and most of our contact with the staff was fine. There was a very nice, professional woman and man behind the desk duringthe day. However one night I called and asked a question about a show and the response I got was "I don't know. I work here, not there." The drains in our sink and tub did not work at all. Completely filled up with water. Finally, on our last day, we walked out to get on the elevator and the house keeper was placing her cart on the elevator. Instead of pulling the cart out and letting us go first (there was only one elevator in the hotel), she had us wait until the elevator came

Paris -16th ArrondissmentPosted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: The staff was tremendous, prior to our arrival as well as during our stay. Kiran, Chriatine, Josh, Henry and all the other staff
Cons: He only thing maybe would be a ice machine, but the staff was happy to provide from front desk anytime you asked
Location: Wonderful bakery and produce market right outside the hotel door. Shops, restaurants, the Tracadero, walking distance to the Arc, and 2 metro stops
Arrived in Paris September 19th weary travelers. Upon arriving to the Plaza Hotel Eiffel it was like taking a breathe of fresh air. The staff was welcoming and extremely helpful in getting us acclimated to the city. The room to my surprise was larger than what I expected and the bathroom clean and modern. We had a room on the 4th floor as the 6th floor, which was recommended by other travelers, had no availability. It faced a side street and if you stepped out on the small balcony and stretched over you could see the top of the Eiffel Tower. In the end we were not in the room that much, and with a few steps into the 16th you had a beautiful view of the icon of Paris.

Excellent!!!!Posted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: Close to all major sights, minutes to public transport, restaurants and shops. Rooms are small but adequate and immaculately clean.
Cons: We got exactly what we expected by hotel description and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Amazing staff who are always pleasant and more then willing to help with any of your needs.

The smallest rooms and the most expensive !Posted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: It was at walking distance to the Eiffel tower and Champs Elisee.
Cons: Evrything if you want to keep those prices.Of the other guests ta we talked to ,none would return or recommend.
Location: The location is good, sightseeng is the thing to do.
When we found out that our friends from Australia we were meeting in Paris had booked a room at the Plaza, we booked a room there also ,so we could be together. The price of $346.00 per night, average, seemed a bit high, when compared with some of the other 4 star hotels we had stayed before. But this was the "Plaza",so our expectations were high. What a surprise, and disappointment! We have seen baby basinettes bigger than the tub. No place in the bathroom for my toiletries,or my wife's makeup stuff. The bedroom was so small ,one of us had to stand still while the other walked by.But the bed and pillows were soft the way we like. The entrance to the hotel is small and unassuming ,one can easily miss it driving by. The gentleman at check inis very corteus and helpful. He also helps with bags if you need it,he gets your continental breakfast ,2 buns a glass of juice and coffee(7 euros).he also vacuums the reception area... It definitely is not what we expected.

Nice hotel with a good location but rooms smallPosted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: It's location
Cons: Ambiance in the lounge and room and bathroom sizes
Location: Great got the Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower with good restaurants nearby
I liked the hotel but it lacked that extra sparkle which could have made it really good

Wonderful experience...except for the showerPosted Sep 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
My wife and I truly enjoyed our time at the Plaza Tour Eiffel Hotel. The staff and customer service was possibly the best I have ever experienced and I can't rave about them enough. The hotel itself was clean, the décor was very nice, and modern, and the neighborhood was nicely located to the subway, dining, and the Eiffel Tower itself. Our room was small by American standards, but the available space was very well used making the room feel larger than it may have been. We did, however, have two concerns with the room. First, the vent for the air conditioning/heating is pointed towards the bed. Thus, we woke up a few times during the night with cold air blowing in our face. I dealt with it fine but my wife switched sleeping positions and slept with her feet at the headboard. Next, the shower. We were frustrated with the shower. It's rather small, which is manageable, but there's a shower curtain rather than a door. When you turn the water on it creates a vacuum pulling the curtain into the shower. Thus, as you shower you're constantly pushing the curtain off of your body so that you can shower and to do so forces you to huddle in the corner of the shower with your hand out literally pushing the curtain away. When you're done and pull the curtain you then have to dry off all the water that was scattered around the bathroom. Were it not for this experience we definitely would have rated our stay a 5-star experience.

The hotel was very nice, clean and very comfortable and was also in a great location for all the sights (especially the Eiffel Tower)! The concierge in particular was great in helping us figure out how to get around Paris and knowing the best routes to take to the different sights as well as the airport. Definitely worth the price!
