“Excellent hotel.”
Nice hotel, nice rooms, the employees were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and will kept. The breakfast was very good. I enjoyed my stay of 4 days. I recommend it

“can't wait to go back”
can't wait to go back and i recommend it to all my friends
“Great place to stay!”
I was a little hesitant about our upcoming stay at Prince de Galles since there were a few negative reviews on this board, but from the minute we arrived, things were great! They allowed for us to have an early check in after our flight from the states arrived at 6AM to Paris. The hotel room was very clean. I would recommend staying with your room facing the courtyard; it was very quiet. I suppose the decor is a little outdated, and the bathroom could have benefitted from a fan because it got quite humid after showers, but otherwise everything was fine. We barely spent any time in the hotel anyways (it's Paris! Go out and explore!) so I didn't care that the decor was somewhat plain. The location is great; if you walk one way down the street, you have a great view of Tour Eiffel; walk the other way and you are on the Champs Elysees and near Arc de Triomphe. You are right near many metro stations, and the RER to Versailles is a quick 10 minute walk across the Seine. You're also a 10 min. walk away from a drop off point for the Air France busses, and easy way to get into the city from the airport. I also want to mention that the hotel seems safe and secure, which was very important to us. The staff were friendly and polite, especially after we tried to speak French to them initially! And they were great in helping us make dinner reservations! Overall great stay and we were very satisfied with the hotel :)
“Not impressed at all”
The overall hotel was not very well maintained and we seemed to be paying for the location rather than a 4 star hotel. We made the mistake of opting to use the restaurant one day (no prices shown at the menu which should have been a good indicator). The food was nasty to say the least (the worst I have had in the many hotels I've stayed at). Over 300 euros for 2 steak lunches with no appetizer or drinks.... go figure
“God time”
Every thing went smoothly. The staff is very courteous and multilingual...very anxious to make our stay comfortable....nice neighborhood...just a short 1 1/2 blocks off dead center of the Champs Elysees.
“Watch your wallet!”
Watch your Wallet, reads the signs on the elevator of the Eifel Tower. The sign should be posted in the lobby of this Hotel. The location was great, the air conditioner doesn’t function, the internet access is 20 Euros for 30 minutes or you can get 3 hours for 50 Euros, small pot of coffee in the morning will run you 21 Euros. All and all I would consider it a bit over kill on the pric
“"love hate realtionship"”
First and last impressions of this hotel were pleasant. Greeted promtly and politely at door as well as the reception desk. The staff including the concierge were true to Frence fashion; troubled when asked specifics but helpful in accomplishing task requested such as asking for directions, taxi, or the nearest Starbucks. Enough cannot be said for the maid service and their ability to clean up or turn down without disruption. The hotel however did have a few problems. We had to wait nearly a half hour for our bags to be delivered to the room, much too long in order to freshen up for dinner after Paris traffic. Then as my wife and I showered there was only luke warm water at 21:00. The next morning there was no hot water for showers. We mentioned this to the front desk and they said that a repairman was on his way to correct the problem with no appologies for the cold water. Three days later as we showered before leavig to catch our plane the water was cold again. Once again we mentioned it to the front desk who's response was non appologetic and offered no discount or coupon. The air conditioning was also not functioning for our entire stay. Fortunately we had a rear room that was quiet and could open the large windows for cool evening breezes. My biggest complaint is the minbar/room service/restaurant prices. Twice as much as we experienced in Rome, Marbella, Mykono's you name it. 12 euro for a normally 6 euro beer or 45 euro per person for breakfast.
“Wonderful Paris visit”
Hotel was superb. Great room. Great location. Excellent front desk & concierge. Helpful staff. Had a wonderful conversation with the sommelier after dinner one night about Paris, visitors, wine, living there. And who says Parisians don't like Americans? Overall, one of our best trips ever!
“Excellent !!!!”
Perfect for exploring Paris in Christmas with all the shops and the surrounding area
