nice location, disappointing roomPosted Nov 1, 2014
Pros: hotel beds were comfortable
Cons: Add room safe, shelves, and hallway lights
Location: hotel is a few blocks away from Pompidou Center and Notre Dame.
Nice location, on cobbled pedestrian street near lots of restaurants and subways. WiFi internet was down at least once per day. Room did not have room safe, which was advertised. No shelves to unpack suitcase Hallway lights work on motion sensors, so as you exit the elevator you have to fumble in the dark until the lights come on.

Pros: Staff and location are both great.

Location: Eat, drink and be merry. Close to everything!

Rundown hotelPosted Oct 19, 2014
I stayed in this hotel for two nights and here is what I experienced: The good: Hotel staff was nice and helpful The bad: dirty rooms, bed bugs in my first room, very thin walls, (very) tiny elevator, breakfast I could not recommend this hotel to anyone. It has many issues. I've tried to attach photos, but can't seem to on expedia.

Good base to see ParisPosted Sep 26, 2014
As far as basic Paris Hotels go, this wasn't terrible. A good base to see the sights. Hotel even had a small lift which is a bonus in a paris hotel. Bed comfy, room needed some TLC and bathroom was clean but small but room had all needed to provide a place to sleep. Staff helpful and looked after bags while we explored. I would stay here again.

Reservation is unbelievablePosted Sep 2, 2014
I had reserved this hotel and pay in advance. But staff in hotel told me room was canceled. It is useless to appeal to staff. When I stayed in robby, I saw a couple of visitors in same situation. Although the staff introduced another hotel, that is lower level than this hotel. I think the overbooking is common in this hotel.

Great place to stay!Posted Aug 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
Don't expect the fanciest hotel in the world, but if you need a quality place to stay that's close to the Louvre, close to La Siene, and close to metro stations that can take you anywhere in the city, then this is a quality hotel. The elevator is a little small, but the rooms are spacious. The staff is helpful and friendly. Be aware that this is an old building so if you need new or modern to be comfortable, do not stay here. My wife and I found this place extremely charming and we would stay here again!

Not a bad hotelPosted Aug 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location is really good especially for the price. We walked to notre dame, and the louvre. It was also close to the metro. The room was a bit small, but clean, and the wifi worked. The bathroom was nicer than I would have expected. For the price I would stay again.
