Short StayPosted Nov 3, 2014
Cons: It would be nice to also have a pool.
Location: Hotel within 5 mins walk of Gare Montparnasse with good metro links to major Paris sites. Montparnasse Tower next to station.Lots of nrby cafes.
Hotel Staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. Room was clean, beds were soft and comfortable. Hotel is located close to Gare Montparnasse ( a 5 minute walk) from where there were metro lines to major Paris sites. Buses also available outside hotel. Breakfast at hotel was €26 per person so instead walked to one of several cafes withina 5 minute walk and had good breakfast ( continental plus eggs) for €11.50.

Well placed hotePosted Nov 2, 2014
The hotel is by the metro on line 4. Easy to reach from eurostar terminal. Everything was excellent apart from the breakfast service. The buffet was great, however, the staff need organising. It was a case of hunt the spoon- long waits for food to be replenished. Surely it can't be a surprise when the guests arrive for breakfast. Sort this out and it would be the perfect hotel

Busy hotelPosted Oct 21, 2014
The hotel was okay with most staff friendly, but we were bemused by the response of a chambermaid who informed us that we were only entitled to two mini pots of milk a day when we requested a few more. I did query this at reception, and the receptionist then appeared to make a personal call which turned out to be a call to housekeepng to arrange for a few more pots to be delivered to the room. So, I guess that communication was not great all round. Great bed and great pillows. Poor lighting in the room. Difficult to get the TV controls to work and all hotel information was supplied via the TV screen, so we don't have a clue as to facilities. The engineer couldn't get the info page either. Great dining areas outside. We didn't try the hotel restaurants.

Nice hotel ideally situatedPosted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Large modern room and friendly staff
Location: Close to Metro and buses. Ideal for shopping and lots of small restaurants to eat at.
When we arrived we were immediately upgraded to a superior room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was modern and clean with a great view over the city. Ideally situated for the Metro and buses.

Accommodating for babyPosted Oct 14, 2014
We travelled with our 4 month old son. The staff rolled in a baby crib for him. All very pleasant to deal with. We needed a hotel close to the train station but wanted something comfortable, restful. This worked well.

Impersonal but well-located and reasonably pricedPosted Oct 6, 2014
Hotel is comfotable but without much personality. There were very few French-speakers staying, so It could have been a large hotel in any city in the world. The rooms were reasonably priced, but skip the bar as drinks very over-priced. Just walk down a block or two for good food and much cheaper drinks.
